Amazing wonton soup - and also order the pancake (scallion pancake, Taiwanese style). The soup is incredibly flavorful and smooth, with a rich texture. They also make all of their noodles home made. The owners are incredibly kind and sweet older Taiwanese ladies - make sure you finish your food or they will be sad! I absolutely was glad to do so!

I ordered the Chicken cold noodles, it is really authentic Taiwanese food. I am originally from Taiwan, and hearing the two ladies working here speaking in Taiwanese made me feel like home. Upon hearing that I'm from Taiwan, they offered me tea and a complimentary braised egg. The food here may not be fancy, but it definitely will make you feel warm inside.

Get the coriander beef noodles and beg her to add smoked tofu for extra $.It’s a life altering experience.Everything is homemade but expect to wait. It’s worth it.

Food is extremely good and owners are very friendly, top notch service and I have been going back frequently

The two ladies that operate the restaurant are nice, and I apologize for this rating, but this is nowhere near authentic Taiwanese food.We ordered beef noodles, pork on rice, and the pan dumplings. The pork on rice, while the flavour was okay, is nothing like what is supposed to be. We've been to dozens of Taiwanese restaurants in Vancouver and Taiwan, and while they were all slightly different, this wasn't even the same dish. No braised pork, no shallots, no mushrooms, no dark 驢肉飯 colour or flavour. The beef noodles were worse. The beef was tough and dry, the noodles were a bit overcooked, and the flavour had only the slightest hint of what it was supposed to be. My husband couldn't finish them and also found a metal bit from what we could only imagine would be from a metal scrubber. The pan fried dumplings were okay, but had a bit of a stinky pork flavour. They gave us cookies after our meal, but mine had bits of eggshell in it.I don't know what kind of Taiwanese food the other reviewers that are praising it have had, but they've clearly never been to Taiwan (it at least not in a very long time) or had good Taiwanese food.

I'm really sorry about the 2 elderly owners but we had a very bad experience. The Won Ton were hard, the meat were smelly like it was left in the fridge for a week before cooking, and the soup tasted like warm water. We also ordered dumplings, which had insanely the worst taste. Supermarket frozen dumplings taste better. The 2 tables beside us left their bowls 2/3 full. We should have noticed and left but because of all the good reviews, we thought maybe it was only those customers.

I was looking for a warm noodle soup and found excellent reviews for Roi du Wonton. The lady owners were nice, the service was quick, but the soup itself was strange. Meat was fine, the broth had some strange taste, noodles were hard and bland.

Best dumplings I've ever had. Wow. It's worked by two elderly Taiwanese women. They make fresh dumplings on the spot. Must go!

We ordered for takeout tonight. All of dishes are authentic. I am originally from Taiwan. By hearing two Taiwanese ladies spoke Taiwanese in the kitchen made me feel nostalgic. This also reminded me how good Taiwanese dishes are. I wouldn’t say this is the best but this store can definitely make you feel like typical Taiwanese stands in Taiwan. Their beef noodle was good. They didn’t put any msg inside which is healthier. The price is fair and the portion is decent. You might not feel this is something fancy, but the two Taiwanese ladies there make you feel like home.

This is my favourite place to go for hot and sour soup and homemade dumplings. The cooking is fabulous. I am so pleased this lovely restaurant is back open again since the pandemic started. FYI- All orders are for take out. Thank you!!!
