I usually don't write reviews, but this time I took the time to write one because of the bad experience we had at Reuben's. Yesterday we were waiting at the entrance with our baby, where the customers are supposed to wait for a table, when a waiter approached us, we thought he was about to take us to a table as the restaurant was half empty and many tables were available, but instead he violently took the stroller with our little baby girl inside from my husband's hands and in a very agressive way put it aside telling us angrily that we were 'in the middle', I mean, we were at the waiting area, there wasn't another place to wait as the entrance is very narrow. Our daughter woke up very scared because he shook the stroller, I mean, she is just a little baby, he did not have the right to treat us that way, we left right away. I doubt we will return at this place. Now I'm reading how many bad reviews Reuben's have for the same reason: The rude servers.
My family and I used to eat at this place for several years, we considered ourselves clients. After the pandemic season, we went back today to have lunch but we got bad service from a tall, white hair clerk who doesn't know how to treat customers with respect. He said we were blocking the entrance with our stroller and instead of asking me to remove the stroller to allow people access, he grabbed sharply the stroller with our baby inside and shook it to put it aside. Our baby was asleep and woke up frightened, I mean, he took the stroller violently from me with my baby girl inside. In the end, we felt insulted by this person and obviously, we left the place without ordering. It's a pity a place like Reuben's has rude clerks like this one in charge of customer service. I'm too disappointed.
Worst restaurant ever! Most racist staff. We came for lunch at 3:50pm. Waited for 10-15 mins and not one person came to ask for our order. The waitress was only serving everyone else other than us. Then she asked the other waiter to come to our table. He asked for our order and left. 1 hr passed by, our food didn’t come whereas the food for people who came after us came 10-15 mins of ordering. The behavior was extremely rude and racist. I would not recommend anyone to come here until and unless you are ready to be humiliated and treated different. Don’t judge anyone by their skin color! It’s 21st Century!! Worst Restaurant Ever!
Use to get there every 2 weeks with my colleagues for Lunch.The waiter took 35minutes to give us the bill.Then blocks the entrance to me and my colleague because we didn't gave him a big tip.You are not a doorman.Fries use to be massive, it's now a very small portions and the meat is meuh.
We decided to try this Reuben after being closed for a long time. There were 4 empty tables, 1 which was clean, 3 were not, server said wont be long. Waited 15 mins to be seated on the clean empty table was there 15 mins prior. Then waited another 15 mins because the waiter disappeared. I understand you're shortstaffed but be sensible. There was a line up yet tables were empty. That's revenue lost and now customers
