Seems like their menu has changed a little bit, anyway, my 1st time to have lunch there. I ordered a chicken Katsu and a sushi combo. The chicken Katsu is a big portion, not dry, the side dish - sweet potato tempera is soft and chewy. Sushi is fresh. They have poke bowl as well. will visit again
BEWARE‼️ Despite our online reservation and confirmation email, they don’t take online reservations. We confronted the staff about the online reservation feature on their website, and their answer was complaining about having too much work… Pretty insulting towards the rest of the industry that was closed for almost two years, I’d say! The cherry on top was when they said they didn’t accept credit cards (even tho it says they do online). I had to run to an ATM to pay the bill because the owners are too cheap to pay transaction fees as just any other merchant would do. I would NOT recommend going to this place, which I used to love before…
I've been this place over 5 years, always satisfy with the food and the service, the owner is so kindly with charming smiles. They provide excellent service. I post two of my orders. So delicious and generous portion. It's definitely my 1st choice when I am in downtown area.
Delicious food in downtown area. Love the fresh sushi and tasty laksa soup ?
Okayyyy, for a food court dish, this is an excellent choice! The price is reasonable and you get fresh fish! The salmon and the eel were amazing! I love each bite of it! As for the service, I think I was greeted by the owner and she gave me a free bottle of water. This gesture was so nice! It really made my day :) please support local restaurants :)
After standing in line to get we were notified that their credit card machine is not working and they only except cash,a well known trick for some shady business. After we finally got inside the place was crowded with no COVID-19 measures in place.Waiting times were too long, food wasn’t fresh, and service was awful, washrooms were dirty.Don’t waste your time,go somewhere else.
The sticky rice is delicious and that shows quality cooking techniques.
I have been there 3 times. It's not the best sushi bar that I tried but it's ok. The fried food was better than sushi. the sushi had much more rice than other sushi bars that I tried. It means I getting full after eating 6/7 pieces. But as I mentioned the fries like shrimp tempura, scallop, and potatoes were fresh also teriyaki was really delicious. I recommend it to try if your favorite sushi bar is closed.
Spicy fried chicken is amazing and they give huge portions at a low price.
Been here on multiple occasions with my friends and each time we have eaten here the staff are extremely arrogant and rude. They don't bring you your whole order, just as they please or whatever is most convenient for them. More often than not the sushi is stale and unpleasant to eat. I have gotten sick from the food here before and regret coming here most of the time; the only appealing thing about this place is the all you can eat for $30 (not worth it). On top of all of this they expect a large tip and don't give back change. Save your money and your time and eat somewhere else, at least you won't feel degraded and have your money disrespected by the rude staff.
