Forget about those negative reviews, yes waiting time is long but once you get in and order the food arrives in minutes and it's outstanding, very generous amazing flavors and great service. Our favorite dish was the eggs with awarma, least favorite was the labne it was more on the sweeter side
Hands down the best lebanese breakfast food in Montreal. This place reminded me of lebanon! From the music .. fayroz, to the perfect tea, the warm traditional bread to the delicious fatte, cheese and zaatar manakish, the falafel were tasty! Everything was fresh and so divine! I love how clean is the bathroom and that they put clean towels. We went during the week which was perfect because no traffic and we got served within the first 10 minutes! The owners and staff are very nice and welcoming. I cant recommend it enough Bravo!! ❤️❤️
Yummy arabic breakfast. A must try if you love hummus, foul, and fatte. You transport to the Middle East for a lovely meal!
Traditional Arabic restaurant.Parking lot and parking in general is difficult. Once you come in, you have to go past the kitchen to be signed in the wait list. The first room you enter, that's where people wait. Why that isn't part of the seating, Idk. They also have an outside area, but they don't utilize that either. After waiting for 30 minutes, we were finally seated. No one came for quite a while. When they finally came, we ordered and that was fine. The tea is excellent. It isn't bitter, it's not burnt, it's just absolutely right every time, no exception. The pickled turnips are on point, the best I've had. All the food is good, but specifically the large bread pieces with cheese, yogurt, and zatar.Once you go to pay, they'll still ask for a tip. I don't understand, as we barely got any service? The bathroom isn't well serviced. There are towels, but behind you there are some paper towels.Overall, I'd say this place isn't worth the awful service. Sure, the food is excellent and on point, but is it worth the long long wait time and low quality of service? I don't think so. The restaurant is clearly understaffed, but they're not willing to fix that.
Believe the good reviews! This place has the best Fatteh in town. Nice atmosphere with great service. It's always packed for a reason. The best lebanese/Syrian breakfast you can get. Constructive critism: they added a new section to their restaurant but it's dim and unappealing to sit in, everyone wants to sit in the old section which is quite small for the amount of people coming in. It would be great idea if you made your newer section more appealing to the eyes and get your windows cleaned :)
It is very hard to find good Middle eastern food in Montreal. I am truly glad I found this authentic gem. Good Lebanese and Syrian food, amazing manakish. The Fatteh is phenomenal. A must try.
This place is an experience not to miss! Food is delicious, service is great and menu is very logically priced. Definitely recommend.
Love going to this place to get my fix of lebanese breakfast. Particularly a fan if theirmankousheh (their 5 cheese is delish, and so is their kishk), and the fatteh. Also a good place to my cafe arabica with cardamon!
coming from Ottawa hearing about how good it is, we loved it. their falafel and foul is amazinggg..(dont have a photo of the foul as it we finished it immediately) their manakeesh are thin and very good too. staff is friendly especially the manager (i guess) who was very nice with my kids and gave them a treat. a must visit
Delicious food at a very good back. The star of the show for me is the Syrian fatteh.
