The restaurant is really nice and clean. The waiters are really nice and the service is really good. However, the food took a while to get to our table. We had to wait 25-30 mins for the food. We got the cheese Katzu and it was delicious. The eggs were good, the chicken was delicious with the cheese being not too overwhelming and the side of rice was generous to fill you up enough. It also came with a miso soup to start it all off.
Stumbled upon this place while visiting Montreal. Made reservation for the following day. The guys that work there are the best, amazing energy and recommended us a menu as we didn’t know what to have. The cheese katsu is out of this world. We also had the bulgogi dolsot, also great. Prices are good as well as atmosphere. Will come back if we are ever here again!
It was a busy Friday night and we did not have reservations, but they were happy to accommodate us with no issue. Service was really fast and great; our waiter was really friendly and approachable. The food was equally amazing - the chicken katsu is nice and thick unlike other places. We're already thinking of what to get the next time we go!
The main dishes were decent, appetizer of kimchi was good, but the service was not very accommodating. The spicy squid dolsot was overbearing; the spiciness took over the taste so much so that it was bland. They also mistook my friend’s order for a different order, which can happen understandably! They fixed it as efficiently as they could, however the lack of welcoming service and ambiance were just off for us.
Important : book before going because it’s going to be full !The restaurant is delicious and worth going for the price ! Still kinda miss the old ganadara tbh, but this one is totally a new favorite. The portions are generous, the service is nice and the music is not too loud, which is so good compared to the majority of bars-restaurant places in Montreal !
The restaurant was really good. Booking is recommended as they’re usually full. The food was delicious. We had the bulgogi udon and chicken katsu curry. The udon was a 10/10, and the katsu curry was an 8/10. The staff was really cool and friendly. It’s an Asian fusion with a good ambiance. The tables are a bit compact though. I would definitely come here again and recommend to friends.
You have to reserve before coming so we reserved two hours before arriving at 6pm on a Friday night. Service is great and fast.. The food is good but I was expecting more variety in their menu like the previous resto that was in its place, it was still good . I got the kalbi udon soup, it was good and spicy. Their karagi chicken was good.
Very good food and decent price and good service
Really great taste and some nice shoju there. Authentic and creative Japanese and Korean food!!
This place is good and serves udon, chicken Katsu and other Japanese dishes. As being the former ganadara and a Korean/ Japanese cuisine restaurant, I thought that many Korean staples were missing, I.e, the bibimpap and other delicious Korean spicy soups. This being said, the service was good and the food and drinks as well.
