Went there for lunch. This may be the best Vietnamese resto in Montreal. The soup was excellent, can't describe the flavour. It was exquisite. I also had a chicken brochettes which were cooked to perfection. Must tell you that I ordered the lunch time special and at 12$ and change is a deal. The terrace was a great place to eat, and the service was exceptional. You got to try this place.L

Order “Chao Long” through Uber eat and this is the most ripoff thing I have ever seen. The dish is nothing like Chao Long, a cheap knockoff using broth from Pho dish, mix with some rice and some frozen organs. This is 200% wrong and far away from how the dish supposed to be, a complete lie to the customers, and the price is too expensive for what I received

Great traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Good portions, excellent quality. Waiters will answer all questions and make changes to the dish as you like. Been a regular for years.

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal. The food is wonderful.

Good food and friendly people.

Always a fantastic meal. Lovely family owned establishment located in CDN, well worth the visit!

The waiter was rude, decided to give him (a very young boy) another chance, unfortunately it was a bad idea. He told us to sit next to the toilet, even we sat down already at different table. Then, he tried to come to tell us to sit next to the toilet one more time. Next, he chit chat with the owner right in front of us plus a weird look.2nd, he came to our table and wanted to clean the dish, didnt he see me still eating and food was still on my plate? Was he blind? Plus, never say excuse me.3rd, when we finished and were paying at cashier. He didnt see us at the table and was panicking, checking around like we ate and gone?!?! What a terrible guy! At the end, laughing at customers’ facesTOO BAD for a resto keeps person like him, clients not happy. Bad service ever. Never come back!

Given the wide array of Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal, whats sets Hoai Huong apart is - it's ambience; nice intimate interior + outdoor patio in the summer - unique dishes that you won't find in most Vietnamese restaurants (e.g. banh xeo, or Vietnamese do-it-yourself pancakes) - I think it's BYOB (could be wrong) However, prices are slightly higher than other places so do bear that in mind. I would highly recommend their tonkinese soup/pho; broth was excellent and one of the best I've seen. Service is ok; Two improvement suggestions: 1) be more open in providing guidelines on how to eat the "do it your self" preparations to those not in the know. 2) I know it's COVID times but waiter should have automatically provided condiments for the soup without having to ask You can definitely get better pho at other Vietnamese restaurants, but I would keep this one in mind for special occasions.

The experience seems reduced from the last time we visited by its definitely something's to do at least once.

Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine available nice food at your own taste.
