We came for a special evening after recommendations from several people in Montreal. Stefan was our server, and as other noted, he is perfect! Stefan balances friendliness with helpfulness and knowing when a couple wants a romantic evening. Portions are quite small and pricey. The food was very good to excellent. My starter of scallops was exquisite, perfectly seared on a creamy yet light sauce. Two scallops. Husband enjoyed his vitello tonato, liking, not loving it. The burrata with southern Italian flavors was good. Bread was $3pp, a few smallish pieces, yet excellent. Stefan agreeably brought some olive oil (very light, not fruity as I prefer), salt and little bread plates. The fish entree was presented well, lovely plate. It was unfortunately over-salted (and I like salt a lot.) Service was perfect and the atmosphere romantic with our window table. Gelato was fine- pistacchio and the creamy gianduia were a pleasant ending.
First course arrived promptly and was tasty. Second course took 60 min to arrive, and only two of us got our meal. Other two meals (pasta ) took an additional 45 min, well after my wife and I had finished a $40 fish dish that was too salty to eat. The vegetable sides were very good for some consolation. After I asked the manager to help us get the pastas for our daughters, they arrived a few min later. The manager and the waiter tried to respond admirably with a comped glass of wine, offer for mock tails for daughters and the friendly waiter even offered to play whatever music our daughter wanted (we were the only diners at the outdoor tables at that point). I do give them points for their response after I complained, but the fact remains that itâs hard to argue that our 400 $was remotely worth it.
Service so so good taste nothing special
My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Graziella. The menu is fairly small which to us means more focus on the dishes offered. The ambiance is lovely and our server for the evening was wonderful and helpful with both the menu and wine.
