We love Restaurant Dobe & Andy! ?? We got the roasted pork with rice and it was 5/5. It was a generous portion with crispy pork and a lot of onion oil. The staffs were so friendly and meticulous. The place was clean and the price was very affordable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Dobe and Andy never disappointment! dining is or picking up for take out, the service is always great and of course the food is next level deliciousness. it's definitely worth the hour drive for me =) A big shoutout as well to the owners who are super friendly, even making my son so happy with all their Bruce Lee posters on their wall! Thank you for hooking us up with an extra poster for his room! ????
The Ku brothers & Webster run this gem of incredibly delicious food with generous portions at a really affordable price in Chinatown, and you should go. They are masters of roasting duck, pork, and also make an incredible BBQ pork (char siu). They've kept this family business alive since the pandemic and you can eat in, take out, or order with ChkPlz. If you want a 1lb order of one of the meats, order early in the day because as has been noted, they sell out. It's a plain resto in a commercial building where they are slowly tweaking the decor, with reasonable delays if it's busy. If you have kids and want to eat in, maybe order in advance to shorten the inevitable "I'm hungryyyyy" time. ;) Truly unique in Montreal and a place that local journalists and arts people in the know have been supporting.
The food was classic and I was surprised at the quality. We were really hungry and wolfed down everything. Prices are reasonable and I would visit again.
Always a 10 for us. Absolutely love the beef chow mein and the 3 meat platter with rice and pickled vegetables. We usually have the crispy pork, soy chicken and pork char siu for the meat selection. Definitely recommend! 10/10
Great Hong Kong-style Chinese food, great service, great attitude, great left-overs. Our son found this place on another (shh-hhh) food site, knowing how his dad loves Chinese. The 10 of us piled in (thank goodness it wasn't rush hour) about 5:30 p.m.) and threw ourselves on the mercy of the waiter. They were out of duck and beef because, well, this place is just that good and that popular and they close at 8. So we had spicy noodles, the mixed meat plate, several types of rice/seafood/meat dishes and a to-die-for sautéed vegetable dish. Two of each for each table. And, of course, we took the rest home to dine another day. Definitely recommend.
After travelling in Canada for 3 weeks, we were craving for some comfort food. Crispy pork belly, Mapo tofu and Cantonese noodles were fantastic. Staff very friendly, felt like home.
