What an amazing find! From the warm welcome as we arrived to the fabulous rooms, this hotel is a must for any stay in Montreal! The rooms were very clean, are nice sized, with wood floors, comfortable beds, luxurious linens and a fabulous bathroom. The rooms have everything you need. A delicious, hot breakfast delivered to your room was included as well. The front desk was very friendly and very helpful. No request was too much. The location is perfect - on the edge of Old Montreal, it is within walking distance to many restaurants, the hop on/hop off bus, and the waterfront. Loved my stay at Hotel Bonaparte and, if I get back to Montreal, I will definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Bonaparte in montreal, the hotel is a boutique style with probably 48 rooms, it looks very new as the room we had on top floor with balcony was spotless and had no signs of wear and tear. The breakfast we had was delivered to the room at an agreed time each morning, although basic it was enough for us as consisted of a bagel or pancake, a bottle of juice, yoghurt, some cheese, a peach and a muffin. A new coffee machine was in the room along with iron ironing board and safe. The service we received at reception was excellent, especially from the Lady who checked us in on Sat 7th August. The balcony on top floor room was spacious and we were lucky to get room 607 as it enabled a view around Montreal to the left. Overall would recommend this Hotel as was in excellent location and was finished to a high standard.

The location was amazing! Perfectly situated in old Montreal without feeling to busy with tourists, even though we are tourists…lol, yet quick and easy access to shops, tourist attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was ok at best. It depends on what your expectations are. If you ok with juice, yogurt, mini muffin and something warm like a bagel or plain crepe to get your day started you’ll be fine. Overall we would definitely return and would recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, stylish and clean and the price point is reasonable for todays standards.

One of the best tasting food experience, must try.

Stayed in Aug 2021 for the long weekend as our first post Covid road trip. Picked a Deluxe Queen room with lovely own private terrace. The room itself we found a little small but was nice to have the included breakfast and quiet time on the terrace overlooking the church next door. The breakfast was appreciated but underwhelming. They said the chefs were not in all the time anymore due to Covid. Had issues with the room a/c from the first day! The first day, someone was able to fix it and we slept ok. But the subsequent days no one on the night staff could figure it out despite a call to the manager. We asked to be moved to a different room as at one point the temp was a sweltering 82F! No parking or valet options. Had to park in nearby bank underground building. No compensation for any of this temp related inconvenience. Would not stay again. Too bad as nice location.

Service was just excellent!! Couldn't ask for any better service. Food was overall good. We had the tasting menu. The wine pairing was excellent. Our feedback...the lobster/pasta dish was loaded with too much butter and was a bit on the salty side.

We were delighted to arrive here, situated in the old part of Montreal. Rooms are excellent, high ceilings, king bed & great bathroom. Unfortunately we were overlooking the street and immediately opposite is a Night Club, which opens 6 nights a week until 3am, although the last revellers didn’t depart until after 4am. There is an amazing restaurant but for some unexplained reason we cannot eat breakfast there and a very basic pack is delivered to your door, with no option to choose anything! The staff were very helpful throughout, courteous at all times.

Unpleasant cheap breakfast served in a basket to your room. Looking at other reviews this has been going on for at least 9 months. Shame as the hotel is pretty nice with clean with a pleasant room, AC and good shower. However would not return.

The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and the hotel is in an incredible location. I’ve seen reviews complaining about the parking situation however since this did not apply to me so I can’t speak to that issue. The breakfast was delivered to the room and was honestly hit or miss but that was my only complaint. Really enjoyed my stay and the rain showers are a nice touch.

Classic French food in a gorgeous dining room. This is one of my Father's favorite restaurants when he visits Montreal and he highly recommended that we check it out on our visit. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, the server was incredibly fun and knowledgeable, and the ambiance was excellent. I would recommend making a reservation for the weekend to ensure you get a table since it's quite popular.
