Such a fun place for a friends evening! You can easily spend hours there laughing and playing games, mostly board games and cards. Big selection of game choices and you can also order a snack, small meal or a drink to enjoy through the night! Be prepared to speak loudly because the place is usually crowded and everyone is loud and laughing. The staff were friendly and for a first time visitors I suggest you ask staff for starter games or to recommend games based on what your group likes and they will help you!
A really good selection of games and $8 per person is very reasonable price for a board game cafe. My only issue is that they said that they don’t want patrons browsing the shelves. Instead, the animators will recommend and teach you the games. That felt restrictive. Without knowing much about us or our experience with games, the animator came to us with recommendations of games that we already own. Why not just let us browse and choose?Its great that the establishment takes the care to hire animators that are knowledgeable about the games but I would like the option to look around and decide what I want to play with more freedom. Also, not everyone likes to have their hand held when discovering a new game. It would make more sense to have people choose what they want and ask the animators for guidance IF they choose to.
Fun spot, packed on the weekends though so it can be hard to hear what's going on at your table.Friendly staff & service, the game masters are a fun bunch. Endless types of games to play. :)
We visited as a group of about 25 people. We had 3 options to pick from - Vegan bowl, Beef burger and Poutine. All three options were tasty. Good portion sizes.The game collection was awesome. Since it was a “private” party we had a Trivia organized for us which was very engaging and was the right amount of difficulty.The entrance is deceivingly small but the main area is pretty huge and well spaced.10/10 will visit again and recommend it.
Great place to hang out. 100s of games- cards & board. Yes, crowd is loud. They have drinks, friendly staffs, games and food. Dont go there for food only, set your expectations based on overall experience. It's a "Pub", food service is great for a pub.
Huge choice of games with some very efficient and knowledgable game masters that will try to get the perfect game for your party, even if you have no idea. Large choice of great food too!
We went for the quizz, the participation was disappointing. Not much of an ambiance, they have a new menu, it’s more expensive than it used to be. Not much of a beer selection. I’m giving it a 4 stars because you still can try a lot of different games and the staff is very nice.
Great place. Food was ok. Very loud. You have to scream when it starts to get crowded. Lots of game but a lot of them are very beat up. Big place.
Amazing selection of tabletops games and friendly staff. Food is standard pub level, but noone really goes there just for the food!A great place for group fun!
