Authentic dumplings you will find near montreal downtown. Walkable distance from nearby metro station. If you are indians then you may not get same flavour as used to in Indian momos.Place is really nice and you will find chicken and pork momos out here.
Dumplings were juicy, but the top part of dumpling was very doughy and didn't taste fresh. Sauces were good and quantity for price is great. Also please correct the menu: poireau is leek in english and chives is ciboulette in french
Came here Thursday at around 6 pm for a quick bite (my first time ever at any of this chain’s locations). Place had a few patrons seated and quietly enjoying their dishes, and a couple of guys handling the guests while 3-4 cooks in the back were busy making the dumplings et al. Ordered the seaweed salad and a selection from the Chef’s Menu and received a hot takeout platter with the juiciest steamed dumplings I’ve ever tasted (no way of identifying what flavours I got unfortunately)! Thank you Qing Hua for the nice surprise. My only reservation was the slow reaction time from the staff to some obvious, albeit uncommon requests (possibility of having a seafood-free mixed platter, a to-go cup for green tea). But only an honest effort to each request, so five stars for turning up tasty food in this university crowd-friendly eatery. Keep it up, I’ll be back soon!
Came in just to get a taste so we got the Dumpling Sampler which came with 15 of the chef's choice of dumplings. Among the sampler we got a shrimp/pork/chive, pork/corn, pork/scallion, pork/chives, pork/dill, and curry beef. All of the dumplings were tasty and seasoned well. I prefer this spot over Sammi & Soupe. The interior is nice and they have a cocktails menu too. One complaint is the dining area smells a bit like cigarette smoke which I think came from the kitchen.
My favorite restaurant, but I suggest businesses pay attention to the hygiene of food and tableware. Chili cups are disgusting. Today, we ordered pork and beef dumplings. The beef tastes sour. This is not the original taste of beef, so the beef filling may deteriorate. When I got home, I had diarrhea.??♂️
Very good restaurant, good food and very kind waiters.Unfortunately they don't have Miso soup in their menu, and I find that there are better dumpling places in the area.
The dumplings good. But, only 14 in one plate, not a lot fo filling in it. Either put more filling or increase the count. I will be looking somewhere else as it doesn't really fill me up..
Very juicy and delicious dumplings. Their peanut sauce is great. The portions are pretty generous for their price but unfortunately they charge you for frying your dumplings which I wasn't aware of until I saw the bill. Disappointing tidbit in an otherwise good experience.
Not impressed, for 15 tiny fried tofu veggies dumplings for $18.5 plus tax plus UE fees. Not filling. The previous time had in their restaurant a few years ago when they were on Lincoln Avenue. At this price for a meal you should be satisfied with fair quality and quality, none was observed this time as well. Bye!!
(Ordered on Ubereats)Dumplings: Very good, good ratio of dough and filling, properly cookedPeanut sauce: It was only peanut butter and a bit of sesame sauce. Not worth 3$ extra. Good sauce if you order the dumplings home and make your own peanut sauce.Soy sauce and chili oil: Good basic sauce, not spicy at allFair price if you don't order on ubereats :)
