Ciro is a lovely guy who runs this Peruvian Restaurant called Puca Puca. You go for the incredible value food. CASH Only @ $15 per head for the 3 course meal. I had the vege soup. Plenty of flavour & spice. The standard bell peppers and veges with rice & beans and I chose the beef stew. Very filling. Followed by (in this case) a slice of cherry pie. If you are hungry and on a budget. This is the place. You don't go for tha ambience of decor!

This place is simply amazing! Siro will warm you not only with his delicious, fresh, generous, and surprisingly affordable food but with his charisma, his courtesy, and forever good mood. A place like no other in MTL. You will simply love it as I did! You won’t regret it!

really excellent price for the portions, great food, excellent service. No bells and whistles but really excels where it counts!

This is MISLEADING ADVERTISING, if you want to go or like the food OK, but by no means this is Peruvian Food, not the main dishes, not the salads, not the desserts, if you look for Peruvian food just save yourself a bad experience.

As someone who lived in Peru for 20 years, I’m very sad people are believing this is Peruvian food. It’s not even close to real food from Peru, we have never eaten what they serve there.

Great food, great price, great ambiance, great service. A hidden gem!

You can consider this as one of the hidden gems of Peruvian cuisines. You get a three course meal1. Starter: usually you will have a choice between salad with smoked salmon or vegetable soup. Both were tasty highly recommend the salad2: Main course: We visited on Friday evening, there were 6 optionsi) Fried trout with rice beans and vegetablesii) Tilapia with rice beans and vegetablesiii) Chicken breast with cream garlic with rice beans and vegetablesiv) Grilled shrimps with rice, beans and vegetablesv) Steak with rice beans and vegetablesvi) Pork chops with rice beans and vegetablesBasically rice beans and vegetables were common and you can choose the among these six choices of proteins3) Deserts: There were no choices they give you a strawberry pie slice which is tasty4) Choice of drinks: you can choose between orange juice, soft drinks or coffee. The whole meal costs 15$ per person (cash only) it is a very good deal and I love their service specially the behaviour of the person running the place.Added the following pictureStarters: Salad with smoked salmon and vegetable soup.Main course: Chicken breast with cream garlic and Fried trout.Deserts: Strawberry pie.

A hidden gem!!!! The owner is very very nice and super friendly. A great place for grabbing a hearty Peruvian meal.

The food was so so so so so good. And plentiful. It's a set menu and they only take cash and it's totally worth it. The server is also the owner and the cook and he's a pleasure to talk to. This place has been around for 25 years and it's worth your time. It's $15 for an appetizer, main course, a dessert and a coffee/tea/pop. That includes tax. Like, I'm suuuuuper full after eating there. Trust me, it's worth it. I'll go back. ?

Great service !!!! And delicious nutritious food for cheap! Which is not common sense to find in Mtl... Ask for the menu of the day to get soup+a big plate of protein(or vegan choice)with rice and some sort of beans/lentils+ refreshment/coffee+ cookie/dessert. It was a very nice filling meal and the server was sooooo friendly! I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!
