The food was very good, we tried beef tartar and salmon laksa. Tartar was bigger portion than usual and had very creamy garlic flavour, also was served with warm bred (better than just chips)As much as I liked the food, service was extremely poor. Waiters didn’t care about customers, they just listened for the order and looked very annoyed with us. No one refilled our water and it’s impossible to catch them and ask for it, they just talk to each other and don’t pay attention to the clients

Relaxed restaurant-pub open late in the old port. Kitchen closes at 10 PM, but snacks menu with hearty options (burger, vegetable gyozas, pad thai, poutine) available until closing. Lovely and friendly hostess and manager. There's a glitch in their online reservation system, but they respected our reservation anyways. Water was always filled. Food was delicious (I highly recommend the crispy vegetable gyozas with red curry peanut sauce). Ample drink options. Music wasn't too loud so we can hear each other speak without yelling over the table. All in all an excellent place to catch up with friends.

This pub has ok beer. The atmosphere is not bad either. However the staff are so rude we actually decided to be extremely patronizing for our own satisfaction not that they would realise. They seemed to actually not want customers but we decided to stay just to spite them. If you like rude come here. If you like welcoming, friendly people go somewhere else, there is lots to choose from (but they wouldn't care anyway).

Great cocktails and delicious food, way above standard pub fare. Service that makes you feel welcome and at home. If it’s after 22:00 and you’re hungry this is definitely the place to go, the kitchen is open until close and the night menu has real food.I recommend the leolito cocktail if you like tequila.

We made reservations for dinner before Cirque du Soliel. We werevlucky to have gotten reservations at the last minute as the pub is small and we watched walk up customers being turned away. It was a Tuesday which is Quiz Night and tables of 4 to 6 were positioning themselves for upcoming competition. The drink selection is very good. I had the best ale of my 10 days in Quebec and my wife enjoyed an Aperol spritz. Entrees we’re equally as good. I had fish and chips which was quite an ample serving and my better half had lobster rolls which she described as “excellent.” The service was excellent, efficient but not hovering. We arrived at 6 pm and easily made it to the Pier Jacques Cartier with time to spare.

Unfortunately, the food was not tasty. We were waiting for our order for a really long time. Out of everything that we tried that night, the oysters were the only thing we liked. And after all of this the total price was way too much.

Arrived late to Montreal last week and we asked at the hotel desk for a spot with a late night menu. This place was recommended. What a great little pub with a great vibe. Despite how busy it was the drinks came quickly. We both ordered the pad Thai, which also came fairly quickly. Superb! Great start to our Montreal vacation. Have already recommended to some friends who are traveling there in July.

This pub is highly rated and strongly recommended by my friends. Perhaps I was not in the right mood for the ambiance of 'loud and crowded', I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. The salmon curry 'bouillabaise' I ordered served with Fukien Noodles was spicy and savoury. It was a delicious dish but maybe there was too much broth for my liking. My friend who ordered the fish 'n chips with a small Caesar salad was on the right track, further confirming that this is a classic pub! I had some and thought it was an excellent dish! The salad was fresh and the romaine lettuce crunchy!! Just outside the pub after dinner @ sunset, was the most beautiful sky; it captured the true essence of a beautiful night in Vieux Montreal.

I went there for brunch. I took what the server suggested, which was a poached egg casserole and my son had the Saint-Pierre breakfast. Oh well, in my case my potatoes were burned and the other vegetables (peppers and onions) were undercooked and the hollandaise sauce was way too tangy. My son's scrambled eggs were okay, but the potatoes were also burnt and it was served with a sausage that was definitely not a breakfast sausage. To top it all off, the restaurant was full and the poor server was alone for everyone. There was a guy behind the bard but he helped for abut 5 minutes to go around asking if everything was okay to each table. I asked for a coffee which took over 10 minutes to arrive. I am sure the server is very good, when we arrived there was less than 10 persons in the restaurant. She gave us great service. But then the restaurant filled up quickly and she was overwhelmed.

My wife and I are visiting Montreal on holiday and our experience here was the highlight of our trip!Simply does not get any better than this. The food is absolutely delicious. Crazy flavour. I've never had a short rib like that in my life.Service was excellent. Especially considering the place was packed on a Friday night.Cannot say enough good things. ✌️
