The ambiance and flavours of the traditional Portuguese cuisine really takes you back to Portugal. The staff is extremely professional, friendly and pays attention to details. The skyline views reminds you that you are in Montreal, while the fusion taste is nostalgic. Second time visiting, and each time becomes more impressive of how delicious every dish really is! A must visit while you are here, and if your from here how lucky to have this lovely restaurant at your footsteps! Special thank you to Andre and Marcos for making it that more special for our family! Obrigado.
This is a review from a bit back, so the pictures added aren’t the most recent. The place was lovely with such an amazing Montreal view. It was the first time trying Portuguese food in Montreal and no words necessary than amazing. The plating is so nice and neat too!
A nice experience. I had the fish tasting menu and it was delicious. The ratio price/food was unexpecting, lots of good food! Also, to add to this experience, the view and the service, our waitress was super nice and worried.
Very nice place, with great menu.It was our first time so we went with the 4 service for 2. Which is: cold starter (tataki tuna with beets salad) and hot entree ( pripri shrimp and octopus) and then the main dish (fish) note that for the main dish you can choose between fish and meat. At least, we had the desert. The service was excellent, everyone was nice and very helpful. The view is very nice and enjoyable while eating. The fois taste very good. (Only a little thing the serving are a little bit tiny IMHO) otherwise its very nice place to try it out.
Delicious meal and big portions. However I do think some items are overpriced.I would say the appetizers were the best especially the salad and octopus. The fries calamari although cooked well was very anemic. The crust was white as snow! The main course, we had the steak, the beef cheeks, the rack of lamb and the seafood platter. The steak was huge and more or less well cooked. No one came to ask how it was. The beef cheeks was perfect. The rack of lamb (6) was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Finally the seafood platter for two, while the scallops and octopus were the best, the rest which includes the calamari, mussels and clams were so overcooked that it was barely visible. If you eat a lot, it won't be enough for two.The dessert, the Portuguese tarts were a lot smaller than expected since we paid 12$ for two but it was hot, crispy and delicious. The meringue was my favourite. It had everything. Sweet, sour, cold, crunchy, soft. The chocolate mousse and hazelnut was my biggest disappointment. When it arrived at the table, most of us were like "where's the rest?". I get it's deconstructed, but a few dollops of mousse here and there with rocks of crunchy pastry and fruit...Anyways, it was a pleasant experience but I'm not sure I'll got for all the three course meal again. Not only it was expensive (120$/person) but not everything was WOW because of the famous chef that opened the restaurant.
Super nice! Love the whole 360 view. The waitress was super delightful and very kind. Food was fulling and seasoned wonderfully. Thank you.
Wow what a fabulous restaurant- amazing food, exceptional service, great wines and oh by the way, best view in Montréal! The passion, knowledge and professionalism of the kitchen and service staff makes this a must go to in Montréal.
