We had the best oysters and service from Julian! He was so knowledgeable and helpful and made our evening takeout dinner date at our hotel off the charts with the different oysters he suggested.Everytime I visit Montreal, I try to visit the oyster bar at the Market!So fresh and fabulous sauces!
I love this place. It has the best fish and its such a treat to go for some oysters. Plus the people that work there are literally the best. Love love love it

*This is the first time I get so mad that I take the time to write a review "I went in there in a rush and asked for a box of Oysters. They handed me a " 24 Oysters box '" for 30$. Got home, it was an 18 Oysters box.Opened the first one an hour later to realize they were almost a month old, rotten and dangerous. Called them right up and spoke to a lady that told me to come back the next day with the box to get a full refund.Got there, paid parking, only to be told they are not "authorized" for refunds and is just not their policy. If me or my friend had eaten their oysters, we would've ended up in the hospital. Clearly they did not care about their mistake and tried to pull one off. After 10 minutes of arguing they offered me a lobster to compensate. I will never trust them again.

The staff is friendly, easy going and happy. This has been our lobster spot for the last few years and would like it to be a hidden gem but its too good to not share.A platter goes for 25.99 per lb (so depending if you get a big boy or not, can be 30-40 bucks). Crossing my fingers on a lobster sale.But guaranteed, you will have every passerby gawking at your beautiful lobster plate if you decide to get one and dine by their beautiful oyster bar as you enjoy the sounds and sights of the market.
