Transport your senses to the Middle East when we step through the doors of Mahrouse. The music and smells create a welcoming ambiance. The staff were very friendly and even gave us complimentary pastries to taste. After a few minutes of window shopping we ordered a small mix of Patries to try. I really enjoyed the Halawet Jebn and Mhalayeh (a smooth creamy pudding)Pricey but well worth it. Excellent customer service. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended.
Fantastic place, your only destination in Montréal if you are looking for Bakava ans Syrian Sweets. Very friendly staff, and wonderful environment. Very much recommended.
This place offers the best Middle Eastern desserts from kaak to maamoul, kunafa, Ashta ice cream and much more. Everything we tried was delicious. The people working there are super nice and kind! Make sure to try the baklavas and Ashta ice cream so addictive l!
Traditional food, excellent hosts, and excellent food. The entire area is very clean. There is outside seating, traditional tea cups. The hosts are very sweet and welcoming, and sometimes they try new things and give them out for free to try out.A must try.
Everytime I visit Montreal, Patisserie Mahrouse is a must to end the trip! The elegance, cleanliness and politeness provided by the employees is much appreciated. Not only are their Baklavas and Knafeh fresh, but they are full of flavour, delicious and taste absolutely scrumptious. As we were ordering for both the Baklava and Knafeh the employees were kind enough to provide us with samples. To top the visit off, one of the employees even offered and made us coffee. In regards to packaging their boxes, they also package it extremely well so that it is safe for travels. Definitely continuing my visits here!
I have been to this place three times. I really love baklava and have tried many different places, and I must say that Mahrouse has the best baklava in Montreal. Their desserts are not stupidly sweet. The syrup has a beautiful natural floral aroma. The Knefeh is really fresh and crispy. Although the price is very expensive (maybe the most expensive baklava in Montreal), but it’s really worth it. The staff was really nice too.
Great aesthetician and great service! Would recommend it, came from Toronto and the ice cream was delicious! The patio is also really nice ?
The place was a very pleasant surprise, we were not expecting the ambiance to be so beautiful. The staff was very attending. We do not speak French which at first made it uncomfortable but we soon were attended by an English speaking staff member. They gave us samples so we could try different things and make a better choice. I tried their pistachio ice cream which is very nutty in flavor, I was a fan. We took a box of their different pastries to go. Not everyone in my fam is a baklava fan so it is not for everyone. But me and my niece had a great experienceThank you Maria for being so attentive ✨
We drove by this place and it looked so elegant that we had to step in. The interior decor is very nice. Almost rustic/classy with chandeliers over tables and their signature colour being a deep wine red.We ordered a couple of desserts and the lady serving us, Maryam, was very kind! She also gave us a sweet to try and it was divine! I only noticed the kanafe when I was leaving but next time I will try it. I don't remember the name of the dessert she gave me but it's in the picture with the pistachios on top!
Déguster des pâtisseries exceptionnelles dans une ambiance toute aussi exceptionnelle!! Une visite chez Pâtisserie Mahrouse c’est voyager en plein cœur du Moyen-Orient. Un must à Montréal!!
