Amazing cashier service! Just bought bitter melons for the first time as I want to try this super food. The cashier was super kind and told me about 2-3 recipes I can't wait to try ??I recommend doing your groceries in this place, they have a wide variety of oriental products ✌️
It is usually crowded and the aisles are narrow. Early in the morning on a week day is the quietest time of the day. Opening hours are not very convenient. Vegetables are more on the pricier side. They have soy beam paste, tofu and mochi which is why I come here sometimes. When paying in cash always check your change in front of the cashier before even moving away. Staff not really friendly and they don't seem to understand French or English so you have to spend some time checking the store trying to find what you need.

I looove this market! You can find all kind of asian goods…and the best part is their banh mi station ? I swear they make the best banh mi in town for only 5 $. I don’t know how many times i stopped there after shopping at Jean-Talon market.

Definitely like this place, been going there since my arrivel to Montreal around 11 years ago. You'll often find the same stuff you find at the big chain groceyr shops, but cheaper. Somethimes it's a big hard to communicate with the employees, since some of them seem to speak mainly Chinese, but they're still nice.
If you're looking for Vietnamese groceries this is the place. Fresh meat, vegetables, and many other good Vietnamese food.
