A little hidden gem in downtown Montreal. The pork bone soup is insanely good, the portion is huge and very well priced. The other items such as the chicken katsu and bulgogi beef are also very good! The only downside is they no longer serve bingsoo. Nonetheless, I still highly recommend this cozy little place

Delicious Korean food with good portions at a reasonable price. I recommend getting the tuna kimbap, cheese tteokbokki, and spicy jokbal!

So I’m writing this review based off my dozens of visits to opiano. This place was my go to place as a student (and still come as a non student) because of the delicious Korean food, the quick service and the friendly staff. It’s a order at the counter type of place where you order and then they give you a number. They display your number on this digital clock looking thing and once your food is ready, you pick it out at the front. The owner was always so friendly to us! I used to come here for their AMAZING red bean bingsu but now they don’t seem to be selling it anymore. I also LOVE their tteokbokki, Pork bone soup, tofu stew and spicy pork plate. This place will always have a soft spot in my heart, so highly recommend.

Tasty and filling lunch! The ingredients feel very fresh and the employees are super friendly. Will definitely be coming back here :) In total the dish (chicken bibimbap) was $12.65 and it comes with soup.

A delicious meal with tender and well marinated beef. The portion is large enough to fill you up. It came with a hot bowl of miso soup that is perfect for a cold winter day. The beef is nicely marinated. The salad dressing pairs really well with my favorite costco spring mix salad.Their menu also has kimbaps and many other interesting dishes which I’ll make sure to come back and try.

Learned about this place by goofing around on Google maps, looking for something to eat near work.Family style restaurant. I arrived shortly after opening and there was a bit of a lineup, but nothing major.I was kinda looking at the bone soup at first, seems like a popular dish, but I was in the mood for rice - quite a rare thing for me - so what better way to try out a Korean restaurant than with Bibimbap?Very good portion for the price - under 15$ with tax and tip, included a miso soup. Everything was fresh and tasty. My only criticism would be that the hot sauce wasn't spicy enough. Service was friendly. I'll definitely be a regular client here.

Wow, it’s great! Kind of a take out counter vibe, but very delicious. Many students there

If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in Montreal, this is the spot. I ordered the sundubu jigae with beef. I really appreciated that it was super salty, which I realized was quite common with most Korean restaurants in the city.It is a little tucked away, and for its vibe/ambience I wouldn’t recommend this as a first date kind of spot. But definitely amazing otherwise.Visited on 2021Dec06

Tried calling a bunch of times and their number seems to be not working and going straight to voicemail. I took a chance driving 45min to Opiano to order the spicy pork and pork bone soup. The spicy pork wasn’t as good as the first time. The pork bone soup was good wish they gave more broth. I ordered an extra side of kimchi the first time I ordered it, it was very good this time around wasn’t as good as the first.

It’s the best Korean restaurant around McGill! The food is amazing and the price is so fair. Highly recommend their plates and the pork bone soup. Also, staff are very friendly.
