I think it was really good. The chicken sandwich was juicy, fries crisp. The spot is takeout only. Would definitely order again!The only thing I found a bit weird was customer service. She explained all the combos to me which was great. But when I ordered, she then proceeded to say there was no more coleslaw. I prefer if she said that at the beginning.
That’s the Olivia’s poutine smal size, it tastes nice with the chicken on top, though the portion is kind very small, also the sauces are a bit more expensive. All in all not a bad experience. The mozzarella was nice, the fries and gravy were very good. Giving 3 stars coz 10.5$ for small poutine is somehow overpriced.
Went to this place numerous times already, the chicken is really good, crispy and cooked just right, the sandwich looks a bit small at first but I take it with some fries and always end up full. Talking about fries, it is rare that I compliment fries but those were really good. A bit pricey but totally worth the quality of the food and service. 10/10
For the price i feel i got riped of. 14.50 for fries and 2 small peace of chicken plus charge me 2.80 for thr sauce total 17.30. Fries was oily. Sauce couldv dine it myself nothing special. Chiken was ok and tender but realy small portion.
This place could be one of the best fried chicken in town. Super crispy and still juicy inside. Only takeout, no sitting area and you can order in advance through their website or directly with staff when you are in store. Staff is nice, the set up is clean and tidy. We ordered Combo to share for 2-3 people, portion is good, included 2 sauces, 2 fries (we paid extra for the onion rings, worth it) and 2 soft drinks. It’s over $40 for this combo but worth it. After try their chickens, we understand why it’s pricey, we paid for the right quality. We will come back.
So i heard a little about the hype for the fried chicken. Ordered the individual bone in and a chicken sandwich, the sandwich was good not great because of no sauce, the chicken was actually crispy from the outside but the inside was very very fatty and bland.Not in the 10 best fried chicken in Montréal honestly.
The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The outer layer was crispy, as it should be. Finger licking delicious dipping sauces. Fries were crispy on the outside; fluffy on the inside. 100% worth the 25min wait. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Definitely willbe going back! ? purr
I love fried chicken but used to find it hard to find a good restaurant, until now! Olivia's Chicken is my all time favorite place. The recipe isn't too greasy or heavy (chicken is very tender), and feels like a homecooked meal. The staff is so kind and welcoming. I especially love their boneless chicken box that comes with their delicious fries. The chicken burger is my second favorite.
I’ve had my eye on this place for several months now but because of the crazy line ups I’ve always driven right past it. I finally stopped in today with my son (who LOVES fried chicken) for lunch and ordered a chicken sandwich with spicy mayo and a medium poutine. The chicken sandwich was ok but nothing extraordinary like some have mentioned. It was a little on the bland side but definitely had a crunch to it. The poutine was tasty but the portion was disappointing. At least I got to try it once ?
We decided to try out the restaurant after numerous recommendations from friends. I wanted to call ahead of time to place my order. Unfortunately, the person told me that they do not accept telephone orders on Fridays and Saturdays. We ordered the bone-in chicken combo for two which included, two fries, two sauces, two drinks and one salad. The fried chicken was crispy. However, it was bland and lacked seasoning. In addition, there was too much batter. The fries were great and the portion given was generous. The macaroni salad tasted great except the pasta was overcooked. I just wish the portion was a bit bigger. Overall, it was not as great as everyone is making it out to be. It was worth giving it a try.
