They poisoned me. I told them that I was allergic to cinnamon and they mixed up the plates, giving me my partner's entrée. They told us they'd given him extra cinnamon for no particular reason and as I ate, I noticed nothing on my plate resembled what I'd ordered. We had to get the waiter to check and yes, they gave me a plate full of something I'm allergic to. (I was very sick to my stomach as a result...) When I finally got my dish, it was way too salty and the risotto was inedible. The app was also loaded with salt and the dessert was mush. This is the second time we've gone and both times we've found everything way too salty. The only good food was the Bloody Caesar.
Very different experience! You are in complete darkness and so you have to rely on your other sense to experience. Would recommend!
I went there with my team members. We all had an amazing experience. One could clearly experience how a blind would person feel. It was so loud inside since I guess the only way one can express something inside is by speaking; your gesture does not work inside. You have to guess everything inside, like size of your plate, stuff still left on your plate, who else are entering or leaving the room based on their vocal and the direction they go.Since I was a vegan I did not have more choice. The main course meal was amazing. The could not eat the dessert served to me since it was extremely sweet for my tooth.I really recommend if anyone wants to feel life of a blind person.
serveurs adorables, bonne bouffe. Super sympa
Just indescribable it's my second an there will be more time everytime had fun like going at a Canadian game????? seriously I bring all my friends here it's worth the money ? ???happy new year and yess it's dark ain't darker then dark ??
We thought the experience was neat and the service was good!We just found the food super bland and uninspired. The tuna salad to start was pretty flavourless. I was surprised to to get what felt like basic pork, mashed potatoes and cauliflower as my surprise main. My partner ordered a “land suprise main” and got a very strong mushroom sauce pasta. Apparently there was meat in the middle but we didn’t taste it. Neither of us enjoyed the dessert which I believe was a panacotta with blueberries on top. There was a strange flavour and consistency to it. For the price, we didn’t think the food was on par, but we were happy to try dining in the dark!
Delicious food. Our waiter Fay was great. Super helpful and kind. The only issue we had, had nothing to do with the resto. There was a super loud group seated next to us who were constantly screaming and laughing very loudly. This made the eating in the dark experience kind of unpleasant.
Great night! Sammi's service was 10/10! The food was excellent! Great experience!
It's just so loud. I found the darkness very interesting but there are so many conversations I can't focus and with that many different people around me I couldn't enjoy the experience.Great service, respectable food and an interesting idea poorly executed. If there was a way to rent out the place and eat with just one coherent conversation it would be so much better. At present, it's not for me. It's also very expensive at $120 for two people without drinks!
What an unforgettable fantastic experience. We had high expectations and it even surpassed that. The service was spectacular and the food was to die for. I had the sea surprises and the dessert surprise. Our server was Sophia and she was the sweetest and really good with her instructions. It was also fun to guess and find out after what we had!
