I really enjoyed my time with my friends at this place. No need to search for a parking, there is one underground near the place, for 16$.The pub is cozy, nice music, but the music is a bit loud and the place was crowded, we had to yell to talk to each other. The food and drinks were amazing. Worth a try. The best appetizer is the fondue!! They burned it on the table, it was so cool. The waitresses were nice and professional.I do recommend this place.
I can say without any doubt that it is the best place in Montreal. The beer selection is pretty good, but the best thing about all that is the service. Amber was just the best with outstanding recommendations, super fast, full of energy and kind. Saganaki was so refreshing and tasty (10/10) so I had to return to try the Bison burger (9/10, but just because if the bun).
Really small pub. They managed to squeeze us beside the bar (probably the worst table in the place) the menu had good selection of not so typical items. The servers were nice. I had a good birthday dinner of fish and chips, my boyfriend ordered mussels. Tasty. My black velvet drink arrived mixed, when it should have been separated. Good atmosphere and quick.
The service and ambiance here is top notch, we ordered beer but were also given water glasses and they were kept full all evening. Very polite, prompt and kind servers. My friend and I had the duck poutine, the duck was so tasty, the poutine aspect wasn't my favorite recipe ever but overall good nonetheless.
NYKS has a warm environment distanced from many of the typical student bars near the universities in this area. As a result, you tend to see a different crowd than most regular bars up on St. Laurent. The food is great and servers were friendly during my time here.
The place is a bistro pub. A "bistro" can be defined as: sub-type of restaurant that serves good food at moderate prices to a fairly small dining room, usually with the option of alcohol. For that definition, at least for us and my partner, the place was perfect. Comfortable, nice music (caravan palace and some more chilled tunes), and really good food at a fair price (two persons main dish+dessert+drinks near a hundred dollars). The Ratatouille, beef, chocolate and creme brulle were delicious. The drinks were great, and the attention was fantastic. With complete certainty we will return in the future.PS: There were about 10 different main dishes, and 3 different desserts, so if you want a place with 35 different options, this is not the place. If you want value for your money, really nice not flashy yet tasty food , good drinks, confort and a nice atmosphere I would 100% recommend.
Jimmy and Michelle were great with the service! The food was amazing, and it was very clean. I recommend everyone to stop in and try Nyx if you are in the Eureka area!
Find this restaurant based on reviews. the service was great. downside is the steak was overly cooked and hard chew. mentioned to waitresses, she gave me half price for the dishes. Thanks a lot
Good poutine (great gravy), okay'ish salad, very nice service.
Had a good team lunch at NYKS. Hearty salad is a good choice if anyone wants a salad for lunch.
