I ordered a cake (vanilla with lemon cream, vanilla cream and apple sauce with ginger). The cake was fresh from that day according to the cashier so I was hoping for a moist cake, however, it was really dry and filled only with vanilla buttercream (I know it said vanilla cream, but I was hoping for more lemon cream or apples in the filling, but they were only on the top of the cake, it was really disappointing). I have to agree with another reviewer about the size. The cake is a bit small, even for 6 people, I don't think 8 could be served from it. I really wanted to like this cake, maybe they had an off-day, but with so many great bakeries in Montreal, there are better options around.
I heard great things about this place and decided to try it. We asked for a birthday cake for 8-10 people. But the cake they gave was for 2 people and I only found out about it when my sister picked it up and brought it. She didn’t know I order for 8-10 people so she didn’t make any comments. When we called back after having received the cake, they said we asked for a 6 person cake. Even if it’s for 6 people, the cake size does not reflect that—it’s for 2 people, tops 3. So the cake looks great, but the customer service does not make sense and the cake size as well. Would not recommend. When we called they just said my sister saw it and didn’t say anything and the shop is closed so they cannot do anything. They insisted the size is for 6 people. No way is it for 6 people.

Absolutely love this bakery!! I’ve gotten two beautiful birthday cakes that taste delicious. All you have to do is ask for what you like and they’ll whip it up perfectly.

Magnifique gâteaux, il ne passe pas inaperçu de part son originalité et ses saveurs harmonieuses. La crème citron est délicieuse et le chocolat blanc monté avec basilic est super - un goût à développer, mais ceux et celles qui aiment la fine cuisine tomberont sous le charme. Il en vaut vraiment la peine quitte à être pris dans le traffic de Montréal. Je le recommande fortement!
