The bad reviews scared me a bit, but my friends and I decided to go anyways; we were pleasantly surprised!Our server, Claire I think, was a sweetheart. Service was great, we got our food fast, and the food was hot and straight out of the kitchen. Food was good!
Very nice retro seats and good service. Ordinary fare and decent prices. Had salad with chicken!
the food was great but the employees were SO RUDE, I went there with my friend, the restaurant was not welcoming, when the waitress came we asked to order from the kids menu (for a smaller portion) and they said no categorically (were 15) and then we ended up sharing a burger but when she realized we were not going to spend much she started to get even worse. also the toilets are pretty dirty and it was just overall not a great experience. i would probably recommend this restaurant for takeout but please do not dine in there…
The staff is rude and unhelpful, the dishes are dirty and the food is expensive. I asked for the kid's menu or a smaller portion but I was told no and the server argued with me and rolled their eyes instead of being nice about it.
ONLINE ORDER BEWAREOrdered on doordash & they took about 25 minutes to confirm my order then finally confirmed it. A driver was assigned to my order and he went and waited over there an other 15 minutes , only for them to end up cancelling my order! It is a waste of my time (40 minutes for NOTHING) and the driver’s time. Really disrespectful. If they could not for some reason make my order they should’ve just cancelled it right away, this is unprofessional.I tried to order again on a different day, and the exact same thing happened!Needless to say, if you see they are taking time to “confirm” your order, do yourself a favor and stop waiting for them since they are very unreliable and will only make you waste you time and go hungrier.
Nickels Deli is a place we go to have a bite on that incredible north American food. They have a good selection, they are fast, personnel are courteous.They even healthy options (which is rare in a Dinner), and also have some children's dishes (I wish it would be a bit more diverse) and prices are fair.I totally recommend this place.
