The food and drinks were good, unfortunately the service was not. The person asked us 3 times what we want as drinks (sitting at the bar) and leave not listening to our answer. He was to busy doing a hundred things at the same time (doing drinks, serving taking orders and taking shots with other customers). As for the food we had to say what we wanted because they would have never taken our order. And lastly it took about 30 minutes to get someone to pay the bill and another 15 minutes to get someone to pay. If you are not in a hurry food and drinks are good.

Classic pit stop in old port. Always solid!

A lovely spot with staff who are very friendly and helpful and what's not to like with chips cheese and gravy!

Fantastic poutine, great beer and super friendly staff! What more could you ask for?! The manager is also fantastic and an absolute pleasure to see when you're in for a bite and a drink. We live a couple hours away but always make a point of visiting Montreal poutine every month or so. It's not a trip to Montreal without a visit to Montreal Poutine!

I have tried Poutine for the first time here, it was good but need to be hotter ♨️It can have better vibe if they turn on the music ?

One of the best poutines I’ve ever had. We did take-out and had the fried chicken poutine and the Montreal poutine, both were excellent. Price was reasonable, fries were cooked nicely with good texture, gravy was the right consistency, the cheese was melted just right, and overall just really enjoyable combination.

Walked in Saturday Nov 27. @ 4PM. Had guests from the States visiting. We got a table right away. 10/10 service. 10/10 quick delivery of food. 10/10 taste. 10/10 Friendly staff. We were in a rush. but otherwise we would’ve totally spent longer time! I am always going to bring my out of town friends here now. super cozy spot, thank you Poutine Montreal ✨

If you are longing to try Poutine in Montreal, you won't be disappointed with this place. It's located well within a tourist spot and has good vegetarian Poutine

From the moment we walked in to this restaurant in the historic old port, we were met with confused decor and loud, abrasive music that would be better suited for a club than a restaurant. We were promptly seated and waited on.Food and drinks were served quickly. Our smoked meat poutine was resoundingly average. The smoked meat on top was good quality, and the gravy gets a passing grade. The fries were warm, but not quite crispy, and decently cooked inside. They definitely had the taste of frozen fries. The cheese curds were sub par, with no squeak, and did not seem fresh. The price doesn’t reflect the portion size or the quality. Finally, we had to wait much longer to receive the bill than we did for the food because our waiter seemed to disappear and nobody took his place. The wait staff were friendly, but not very attentive and seemed undertrained. Many things should change for a better review. The poor music choice, sub-par food for the price, and inexperienced staff led to an overall unpleasant experience.

Must have when you're visiting Canada. Menu has a variety of traditional poutine. Good portion. Tasty poutine. Nice seating ambience in the back or upstairs.Try the fried chicken poutine
