Ordered for the first time today from Mont Everest masala. Surprisingly good food. Our main concern while ordering Indian food is that it should not have unnecessary colors and should be mild.So far I have only seen this restaurant providing an option to select spice level while placing an order which is soooo helpful.Food was awesome. Hope our experience remains the same the next time we visit this place.

Was looking for a new local Indian place, so we tried this one as it's down the road. The garlic naan was not as good as other Indian restaurants, but that's the least of my gripes; all the veg is from frozen, or a tin (it's all cut in the little cubes you get them in, and it's absolutely tasteless- the peas were also shriveled and rock hard), the rice was over cooked and stodgy, like it had come out of a giant container of weekly rice from the fridge.I don't think a single thing was cooked fresh, and I wouldn't believe it if you told me.Very, very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone: If a restaurant cuts corners, the customer can always tell.I suspect the reason why they have a high Google rating is because they get their staff to put fake ratings on- I used to do that at my old restaurant job, it's just the way things are nowadays haha.I actually feel a bit sick from it- hopefully it's just psychological from the old taste it's leaving in our mouth, but it was very greasy and stodgy. There are so many other better Indian restaurants, it's really not worth the 50 bucks it costs. Anyone could have made the stuff they sell here at home, for much much cheaper, and better.

tasty, good prices, ample quantity. we each went for a dinner combo--i had bhendi (okra) curry with all the sides, my dining partner had chicken. both were offered with personalised level of spice. my medium-hot was as hot as i like without being too much. the mango lassi was also very good. service was friendly and efficient, ambience was calm and inviting. not too crowded on a Saturday night. we'll be back!

This place was genuinely so good being a punjabi i always desire spicy food. And i could find it no where but i am fully satisfied that i went here. The spices are so accurate. And the server (MANPREET) was so kind as well. She served us so nicely.?So she needs a shoutout. I would be more than happy to recommend it to my spice lovers❤️❤️

Traditional Indian cuisine I placed an order for takeout last night as I want to feel Indian flavour and got best Indian food I have ever tasted in Montreal. Seriously love it. Definitely recommend this place for good quality and bigger portions too.

Best place with some amazing peopleMany items to choose. I placed a takeout this timeAnd the portions were incredibly higher than other restaurant. Will go again for sure ???

Ordered madras chicken along with naan and it was amazing! Quantity was really good too. Nice, decent ambience with quick service. I would love to try again and again...

I recently visited this restaurant and I ordered butter chicken, palak paneer and chicken curry. I can say that it's one of the BEST food I ate in Montreal. The food quality was excellent and the taste was great. One of the best place to dine in too. Best place in Montreal for Indian cuisine.

Always thought this was a vegan/vegetarian restaurant due to the sign, finally checked out the menu instead and found out I was wrong!. What a great surprise, delicious food, very generous servings, great prices, will definitely go back again. The Saag lamb was fantastic!

I was visiting Montreal with my friends wasn't expecting to find such good Indian food! Truly authentic spices and salt was just perfect one of the best Indian food I have had! Would highly recommend.
