Great food, nice waiters and wonderful ambiance but the barman at the second floor gave an horrible service. The guy was so unpleasant and contemptuous... why?Anyway, I tip the waiter directly and gave nothing to him.

I popped in here at around 1930h on a Saturday, wasn't overly busy. I ordered a pint of lager while I perused the menu, luck should have it they had "famous" fish and chips.Negatives:- fish was previously frozen, to the point that there was even 'freezer bit' parts of my fish- extremely greasy-coleslaw was actually ROTTEN/SPOILEDPositives:- friendly staff- 'cheap' happy hour beer- chips were OKI was extremely disappointed considering all of the excellent reviews this place has. Would not go back.

Farewell drinks at a favorite place. We booked for 15 people, got space on the terrasse out back, and it was a blast.Drinks and food orders were taken quickly, and arrived quickly.Delicious food, tasty beer and drinks, and a successful time.Great service by all the staff that served us, and kept the beer flowing. ??

Cosy pub atmosphere, great beer selection, service and friendliness is great, very good wings and wings come with fries, good pub menu. Usually full of people. As an out of towner this is where I come to feel at home.

Very Good place for Irish as well as local craft Drinks and delicious foods.Cozy place with wonderful ambience.

Clubbing opinion:Partied here as a new alcohol drinker 2016/17ish, and disliked it very much. I was not loving it at any point throughout the year(s) I went.Music was always terrible. Dancing was even worse (music did not help). Ambiance was lacking and it was a sad environment to be in. It gave off the impression that a sad man who was too old to be clubbing would go there to celebrate his birthday with a whole bunch of 18 year olds. There are so many better bars and clubs around Montreal. Choose a better place, please.I am aware that it’s been a while and it could have changed but never chose to go back there after a certain point. And I would never go back now or recommend it to anyone.

I went there last Saturday with a bunch of friends to have dinner and some beers and watch the game. We spent a good amount of money and left a good amount of tips. I also forgot a neck warmer that I was very fond of, as it was a gift from a person that is no longer here. I reached to them on their fb page, and later on, on Thursday, I called to ask wether they had it or not to go pick it up, and the guy I spoke on the phone told me they did, after I gave him it’s description. I went there today Sunday evening and asked the guy behind the bar about it. He was more interested on playing a game with his buddies and made me feel most unwelcome throughout the whole thing. I asked him to please look through the lost and found items box for a second time, as I had been told it was at the bar. He did, but in a very rude and quick manner, as if I was just a bother to get rid of. Very bad attitude for a person who works behind a bar. And where is the neck warmer that was supposed to be in there? Who knows. Never going to this place again.

McKibbin’s Irish Pub in Montreal is a decent place to eat. We were here in January 2020 and I ordered their vegetarian burger it was delicious and it tasted really well. Had no issue. The Service was alright of course it was not busy the day we went however it was okay and the food and quality was on par. I will visit again when I have the time.

Standard Irish style pub. Feels cozy and not too spread out, but can accommodate a lot of people, good beer on tap, outdoor and indoor areas, as well as live music.

Low quality food and zero service. With 4 patrons at the bar and a fairly empty floor I had waited ten minutes for beverage service at the bar and food was cold when it arrived. Customer service + decent food = repeat customer. Will definitely not be back. Sorry.
