Great location here at this classic bar on Saint Laurent. The drinks were very good and the price was quite competitive for the location and the popularity. That being said, they are extremely understaffed, and the chips we ordered never came. (The host apologized vehemently however).Would be a 5* kind of place with more staff. Would love to return.
The lady bartender was rude because my guest who is from out of this province and country did not give her a big enough tip. She was rude to him as well when she gave him back his change. The food was very good however she never served it and never asked if everything was ok either, nothing, the ambiance and decor is great however the music could be a bit more Irish...Take it from someone who has lived in Ireland and Scotland, folk do not act like this EVER with clients. EVER. perhaps your staff needs to be reminded that not every client comes from Quebec!!!
Great selection of beer and staff were helpful in navigating that. I had returned specifically to get some real steak and kidney pie, not the kop out steak and mushroom pie at home. Server thought at first that they didn't have it anymore but returned from the kitchen corrected. Unfortunately it turned out to be a bit over salted. Crust was very nice and sides were good. It definitely had kidney, I could tell by the texture, but the flavours were overwhelmed by the salt.
Great food and awesome menu for drinks!!Sweet Potato fries was superb
Food was ok but not great. My son asked for chicken and they gave him one very small piece with fries and charged us $26. It was outrageous. We won’t come back.
Nice pub . Great food. Good and quick service. Cool ambiance. But I am learning many restaurants/ bars here are adults only particularly on St Laurent and other parts of Montreal. Unlike in other towns where it’s adults only at bar and all others can still dine at tables in restaurant. So leave your kids home dining here as well as many other similar establishments in Montreal.
I had a wonderful night. Good drink. Excellent music and lovely environment. The only negative point was the waiter who twice spoke to me and my guests in an inappropriate and insulting tone, and that is a shame. It was more like racism.
The bouncers are literally getting violent over masks they kicking us out but only after we paid our billsAnd their employees are wearing their makes below the lips so I really sont see the point. This place is sad.
Wouldn’t let us take in cards. Turned away for wearing joggers. If you have a dress code, have it specified somewhere. My joggers cost more than most people’s outfits
Lots of fun. Lots of booze. Titanic burger was amazing. Don't remember how I made it all the way home to Lasalle LOL
