We reserved a table to try the Lobster pizza, was not dissapointed, they served it!!! Only bad point is the lighting, we had to get our flashlight phone to be able to read the menu.
Amazing ambiance and the service and food was impeccable, love this place ! Manga Foco is one of my favourite Italian restaurant in Montreal .
Itâs really too bad that we didnât have a better experience. The food was excellent but the server was beyond grumpy. Monosyllabic and curt. What server doesnât offer a drink to the whole party when one person requests one? It wasnât even terribly busy.
Used to go here quite often, pre Covid. Probably won't be going back. The food was very much sub par. My son enjoyed his polpette. We shared some salumi, prosciutto, porchetta and tomatoes. The tomatoes were mealy and mushy, the prochetta was 99% fat and cut very thick, so it was like eating slimy lard (not a pleasant mouth feel), prosciutto was OK, nothing more. My pizza was not made the way I requested it (asked them to keep off one ingredient) and overall the dough had an odd texture, toppings were scarce and it was close to being undercooked. Also, those side tables on the stairs... they should really do away with them. I asked for a different table, and even though they were unoccupied the whole evening (so not reserved) the waiter refused. Not impressed. Besides that, service was OK, and wine recc. was good - BUT there are far better places to get pizza. Won't be spending my hard earned money here again, and it's too bad, because we used to love this place.
Manager really not welcoming, rude service, bad night for him I guess. Food was excellent.

Service was very good. Disappointed in pizza this time. Had prosciutto pizza. The fior de latte was pretty much non existent. Ridiculous amount of arugula and not well sorted as some was past it’s prime being yellow. Lots of prosciutto which was very good. Crust was good but burn spots on bottom. Also I know they serve it this way but I find plate small and not having it cut makes it just harder to eat than it needs to be. Wish I had ordered something else this go around but I will be back as we have had much better food normally.

We felt like eating in old Montreal, unfortunately the service was not great, we were not even seated at our table and they advised us we had to love within 2 hours. The waiter was not very warm, seemed to be more interesting with the table beside us, which seemed to be his friends⦠oh well, we are very spoiled in Montreal so no stress in finding a better experience restaurant ;)
