The food here was so good! I was in Montreal for just a week and went here twice! It was recommended by a local friend who loves it. I had dinner (carry out) and lunch (dine in). I had the lamb with green onion dumplings fried and the beef curry dumplings boiled. Both were extra tasty dipped in the chili oil. I wish I could have tried more of their food. This is a great place and I'd go here dangerously often if I lived nearby. Cash only (but they have an ATM at the entrance).

The food was great! One of my favourite places in Montreal for dumplings! But tonight, their service was super long… the waiter got our order wrong so we had to wait even more and their machine for interact didn’t work. They told me to make a transfer and I did adding a little bit of tip, but as I was unsatisfied with the service I tipped less than usual. The guy that served us asked me to transfer the rest of the tip and made us WAITTT till he got the transfer. The tip is NOT MANDATORY and if the customer is not satisfied, they are not obligated to leave any tip. I find it super unprofessional.
A bit spicy for kids like me. Great selection of dumplings on the menu and they brought our order out very fast.
Ordered a variety of dumplings through doordash after a long day of walking through the city. You will not be disappointed. Ordered the pork, spicy beef and soup dumplings. All were excellent.
Chanced upon this restaurant as nothing else around was open at 10:30 am. I think they were the best pork soup dumplings that I have ever had! Staff was nice and decor was chill.
I’ve been coming here since 2018/2019 these dumplings taste like home to me. I don’t find them bland because their chili oil is delicious. I always mix tons of chili oil with the Chinese black vinegar they have available at each table. If you’re looking for something that reminds you of homemade dumplings then I would recommend coming here. I’ve tried two other popular Chinese dumpling restaurants here in Montreal and Mai Xiang Yuan is my preferred go to. I moved to Toronto now and every time I visit Montreal I still come by for a taste. I always eat in the restaurant.I always get boiled pork dumplings and their pork xiao long bao. Pork and mushrooms and classic pork and chives/cabbage are my personal favorites
Good location. Very good dumplings. The only chicken item in the menu is a COLD one NOT a food served hot. Shrimp dumpling is very good. Fried veg dumpling is crispy but lacking in taste. Space is little cramped. The entry doors bangs all the time when people enter and exit and it’s very annoying while dinning inside the restaurant. Price is ok, location is perfect easy to find.
We came in from the street because there were not a lot of people inside, and we were pleasantly surprised how nice everything was. The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was very tasty. The staff was friendly, the interior clean and comfortable.
Loved this place! Great service and the prices are hard to beat. We were a bit in a rush and only had an hour, but luckily for us, the food came out super fast. We left with a $50 for 2 people, super stuffed with beers on top of it. Best deep-fried dough sticks, good Dim Sum and we enjoyed both steamed and fried dumplings.
