Tried their Pav Bhaji Dosa while visiting Montreal. Fusion of my two favourite dishes was enough to make me order this. And I was not disappointed. To be honest, although it may not be the best dosa I have ever had. But it was most definitely the best dosa I had in Canada so far especially the filling of Pav Bhaji works really well with the condiments. I also love the idea of them serving everything in steel-made crockeries (plate, glasd, jug etc).
I ordered pavbhaji dosa and what the hell! They gave me the paper dosa instead also the lady with the colored hair who served us was super Rude. We always choose this restaurant once a month and it's good but this time the experience was disgusting i mean i have no words for this.. if they can't make the dosa why should they take the order...and later they served me the bhaji dosa but they just put the bhaji on the side ( usually it comes inside in a normal regular dosa but this was like super disgusting) .I bet you..you'll receive the worst service here..i won't suggest this place anymore because i used to take my friends often here and now it's the worst !!! The lady who served us was super super super rude..
I couldn’t recommend. I was super hungry and I ordered Pav Bhaji dhosa and she just gave me plane paper. And when I tell her, instead of giving me right one, she behaved so rude. And again came with same dish just Bhaji on side.I am so disappointed. Hope you train your employees well that they know how should they treat customers.
Highly recommended for South Indian cuisine in Montreal. It's very closeby to the downtown st catherine street. Podi dosa, mysore masala dosa, poori sabji, veg.manchurian, mango lassi is really good. I have been going to this place for almost a year now and it's a place to feel welcomed with good authentic flavours of South and good clean place. Coffee is worth trying it's exactly like India with right amount of coffee and milk. Makes u feel at home sipping nice coffee and your fav dosa. The staff and owner anita maam will be always on their toes to serve u best.
Soggy Mysore Dosa and sambhar with complimentary water inside. I was super hungry but couldn’t even finish half after tasting it !!
Tried this place for the first time today, the food was incredible. I had their chicken briyani and it was packed with flavour and it was hands down the best rice I've ever had. I highly recommend giving them a try.
The place serves the best dosa’s ever. have tried mysore masala, rava, pav bhaji and masala dosa. However, the medhu vada and the dahi vada were tasting bitter maybe due to the cooking oil or something else. But the owner was very polite and took the comment as appreciation and said we will check it surely.I would recommend this place for rava dosa especially. :)
I wouldn't recommend it. I usually don't write any -ve review but considering its my bad experience 2nd time at this place, I am writing it. Ordered Veg. Kothu first time in Feb. 2020 and 2nd time in Jan. 2022. Both the times, they have served some left over food. Even after calling and informing, they don't feel any responsibility. I highly don't recommend. If you don't believe me then check my other reviews on other places.
The experience was amazing! I came here for vacation and I must say, this restaurant was very impressive. We tried only the south indian food and some fried rice. Everything was very authentic. The quantity and prices were all amazing and for dessert we had rasmalai which was also very authentic. I highly recommend this place!
It is my first time to try authentic Indian food and I like it so much! We ordered takeout from the store with two veggie samosas, butter chicken and curry lamb, would definitely come/order again. One suggestion might to do with the packaging, the used plastic bag is too thin to hold the food so one of the dishes fell down to the ground when we carried them home
