Disappointing…the 2 hostesses at the front desk were very welcoming, great smiles and good vibes. Once seated our waitress came to serve us however no smile no warm welcome , she looked like she didn’t want to be there. We gave her our order of drinks and appetizers and she mentions that there are only 2 appetizers available on the menu??!! No explanations as to why just : we have only the wings and calamari available.. so that was another disappointment. Whenever she would come back to our table it looked like we were bothering her.. we asked for paper napkins she didn’t bring them, we had to ask again, then when she brought the appetizers we had no plates to eat from since we were sharing , we had to ask her for that too. We were for she only brought 3 and she even noticed that one was missing and she didn’t say anything or bring us another plate.. honestly I haven’t had such bad service in such a long time .. so disappointing and pretty pricey for what we got as main meals.
Nice atmosphere, good for a date, by yourself or in a group. Food was mostly delicious, their burger sucked but the sweet potato fries, soup, and linguine were absolutely delicious. Service was also nice, the waitress knew how to earn her tip with a smile and humor.
You know what you'll get at Madison's, it's fairly consistent from location to location, the biggest difference being the staff.This location is central to the basin in Montreal, Saputo Stadium, botanical garden, ect.Took my 4 y/o son for dinner before a soccer game, we were running a bit behind schedule.Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the waiters name - he was very busy, but the quality of service did not suffer at all. After ordering, drinks were at the table in a few minutes, food followed quickly, desert came out next without having to ask.My son had the kids meal pasta, I had the calamari and a Caesar salad. I'd rate the food a 3/5, service 5/5. Hence the 4* rating.If I attend another soccer game, I'd likely stop in again.
The burger was horrible and so were the fries. The service was poor and the calamari soggy. On top of that the food was overprice to hell. If you want to eat some good food at that price go to any one of the 100s+ restaurants downtown.Never again

Not very thrilled about the menu or the quality of the food.Ordered steak was very dry and portions was small for the price. I asked for medium-well, but got deeply well-done.Waiter proposer a wine that did not work very well with the steak.Selection of the menu is poor.Worth to try once, not more than that.Hopefully they can improve the portions and selection.
If I could give a lower star I would. A 25 minute wait turns to an hour. After waiting an hour, we sit and wait another 20 minutes. Nobody came. Our group decided that was enough and we left. The first mistake was staying for an hour. Based on this experience I would definitely recommend NOT coming here.

Had a burger with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes had a very nice garlic taste to it. The burger was good too. If they had a bike parking rack, it would be even better.
food is very good..Our server Arianne was an excellent server. She should be promoted to a higher position at Madison's.. we will definitely be back..
