Lov exceeded my expectations! Our server was so kind and patient as my mom and I had questions about the menu. We ordered a variety of appetizers and main courses to share. The king oyster scallops, dumplings, fish and chips, coconut curry, and creme brûlée were all excellent! We could not stop raving about them! We also got two white wines to start which were lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to come back again next time I’m in Montreal!!
May I strongly suggest making a reservation to avoid disappointment.Luckily for me, I was able to sit at the bar (though a bit uncomfortable because there’s no leg room). Overall, delighted I was not turned away.Everything on the menu looks delicious so it was very hard to decide what to orderI ended up with three tacos. And kimchi sweet potato fries ☺️Atmosphere, decor, music - excellent.My server was Zoe - excellent but I could tell the restaurant is short staffed.I definitely plan to come back. I hear their risotto is delicious ?
Myself and my partner were excited to eat here but left somewhat disappointed. Our drinks were great, I had a golden milk and she had a peach bum. My partner had a burger which she said was good and I had sweet potato fries with kimchi and that was great. The disappointing part was our salads. I had the harvest bowl and my partner had the side garden salad I believe. Both of them came with same dressing which had an extremely strong and unbearable taste of what I think was mustard. I normally love mustard but eating the salad was like taking a mouthful of wasabi. Im not really sure who enjoys that and we certainly had no idea to expect that based on the description on the menus. I am sure there are other things on the menu that are much better but unfortunately there were many things that were unavailable when we arrived. I expected this to be the best meal during our trip to Montreal but it was the least satisfying, and some other local vegan folks we spoke to said that the restaurant is not as good as it was when it opened. Unfortunately I could not recommend this restaurant when there are so many other great vegan options in the greater Montreal area.

Very much enjoyed my visit again to LOV but to another location. My drink called "Leaf" was out of this world. Looking at all the ingredients, I thought it would be overwhelming. But the Kombucha, Mint, Turmeric, and Sugar Cane was all in the right proportions. My dinner of choices of a small green salad, a side order of poutine, and a crispy mushroom burger was wonderful. However, next time, I will forego the poutine. Our server was new, but was so attentive and kind. We closed the place down, yet they were wonderful and lovely. You can never go wrong with this restaurant chain. I look forward to seeing a varied and larger menu next time!
So delicious! The service was great and drinks were fun!! The sandwiches were pretty good, but the atmosphere and appetizers stole the show! Would highly recommend the poutine here, most “classic” tasting vegan poutine I’ve had :))
Disappointing, I expected far better.The main course Kung Fu Burger was two bits of tasteless breadcrumb-coated deep fried tofu, carelessly assembled with massive chunks of raw red cabbage, served with fries that were simultaneously undercooked and cold. For $16. Damn, an epic rob for something so bang-average and indeed borderline unpleasant. Nowhere near as good as a Copper Branch bagel, and over double the price.It's a pity, as the starter - fried brussel sprouts with Buffalo sauce - was borderline excellent. The house white wine was great. The service was pretty good. And the venue is cute, nice atmosphere, very busy on a Saturday night.But I was so disappointed with my main course I decided not to bother with dessert. I won't be going back.
Great food! Best vegan options so far in Montreal - really great burger! Brisket sandwich was awesome.But 5 stars would not come before trying the unbelievable chocolate tart - the only issue is that they don’t offer the full pie on the plate, just single slices… I could have it!Staff is friendly and service overall great! ?
Loved the food but the service was long and he kept forgetting about us. I loved the pleurote burger and the mocktails. Delicious and beautiful decor
