Started to rain so we went inside here, and boy what a list of beers they have, difficult to select one. They had some experimental ones for sure. They even got me a new one as one of their experimental ones was not even good by their standards (odd that they still sell it with full price, but apparently you get a new one if you don't like it). The replacement of was excellent and the waiter was very professional and friendly.
Drinks were great. Hubby tried their house brewed New England IPA and their Helles, and he enjoyed them both. I had their sangria (served in a pint glass and liked it as well. Bar staff quite nice. Food is another story…. Ordered the chicken sandwich and fries ($19) and while the piece of chicken was good, the top of the bread roll was so hard, we could not cut it with a knife. Fries crummy. I ordered their house “special” butter chicken pizza ($18.50). There might have been 3 small cubes of chicken in there somewhere. Crust was so overcooked, I scraped off the little bit of topping. Combined with less than tasty food, the fact that we waited 45 minutes for our lunch at 1:30 pm (and the restaurant was nearly empty) = 2 unhappy customers. 5 stars for the drinks…..2 stars for the food Lunch and drinks was $89 (with taxes, but no tip)
Took forever for the waitress to take the order. The food was average. Skip this place. Plenty of options in the area where to choose
Le Saint-Bock used to be a great place roughly 5-6 years ago. Ever since then, it's only been a downhill ride. Slower service, worse food, less choice and increased prices. Their fries used to be good, today they taste like they came from the freezer(bad texture too). Cajun fried chicken tasted like cheap rotisserie shack meal with no spice and too much salt (kfc is better, I kid you not). That will be 21$+ tax+tip. Beer is good but 7$ for one glass(minimum). Save your money and your stomach, go somewhere else on Saint-Denis (seriously).
My wife and I did a craft brewery tour, Le Saint Bock was the first and best. We returned for dinner and drinks. Not only do they have a great selections of beers, they make a mean Cosmopolitan.
Loved this place. The atmosphere, food and most of the drinks were amazing. If you love beer, this is definitely the place to go. Great place to hangout, chill or go out with you corporate team.- The beer bible is amazing even though there’s not always your choice available. Still a ton of choices.- Even though the staff is nice the efficient service is not their strength.
We were lucky to run into this place when were very tired from all the walking, and had a perfect little break. Their beers were excellent, and so were their service and the fried root vegies! The price was highly reasonable as well... definitely would go back if we go to Montreal again!
This place was great. We sat inside and due to its size ended up talking to the 4 others who were also there. We got along so well we took a group photo! The bartender was super friendly and was able to make any drink thrown at him. A wonderful time was had by all!
I really liked the taste of Cherry Sour beer!
Good fun bar with great bar staff
