Charming waiters very welcoming If you are in Old Montreal and would like to eat True Italian Food This restaurant is a must !! A place to return to many times Thank you for a beautiful, quiet evening and fantastic food Le Muscadin and staff
Excellent Italian eatery. Highly recommended

Everyting is good, Inculding Food, service ... Thanks.. If possible, I will be back..
Let me start by sayingâ¦run, donât walk. This restaurant is a diamond! We had NO idea what we were getting when we decided to try Le Muscadineâ¦but we are SO glad we went. Not only did we leave with full stomachs, but we full souls and new friends. The ownerâs daughter, Josie, greeted each guest, spent time speaking with each table and thanking each guest when they went to leave. Now for the foodâ¦Montreal is a food destination. Le Muscadin is no exeception. The insalata mista was crisp, perfectly dressed and the perfect warmup. My partner had the Caesar salad and said it was perfect. The Pastaâs are Italian perfection. We both opted for seafood pasta, and I donât think I can describe the bursts of flavors that exploded in my mouth with each bite. But, I truly havenât had Italian that amazing in a long time! The star of the show was dessert. The crepes Suzette, which are made tableside,is the star. Josie made them, and took the time to get to know us and told us the story about her family. You could see the live and passion she has for this restaurant. The crepes were perfection. Just like I dream of, immaculate caramel sauce that had me just shy of licking the plate. Iâve said it before and I will say it againâ¦this restaurant is a canât miss. Youâll have a full stomach and full heart when you leave. I couldnât ask for a better farewell to this amazing foodie city.
If you are looking for essence of fine Italian cuisine, look no further in Old Montreal than Le Muscadin . Tucked away on a side street , the restaurant discreetly invites you in with just a small formal sign which one could easily miss ⦠Greeted warmly by the host , one can feel very welcomed into this small classic white table clothed environment . The waitstaff was ready with quick service and knowledgeable information about the menu and nightly specials . Cocktails and wine list offered were extensive . Food menu was delightful . The I had the tortellini in brodo which rivaled what I had in Modena, Italy . My husbandâs veal with mushrooms was delicate and he raved about its savory goodness. I had the linguine vongole with generous amount of clams ( one caveat it lacked enough white wine and butter to bring out the taste off this dish as the portion was large !) Our waiter was very kind and the host would visit each table to make sure everything was to our satisfaction . All in all a delightful evening and as we were leaving , our host gave me a beautiful long stemmed rose to complete our date night !! Visit this restaurant ⦠you wonâât be disappointed â£ï¸
We came here based on the high level of reviews for this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Montreal. And one of the owners was very friendly and came to our table several times to check on us throughout our meal and a quite appreciate that.
This is the best meal you will ever have!!! The service is extraordinary! The food is amazing. The entire experience will change your life. Do not miss the opportunity to dine here. Highly recommend the Caesar salad, minestrone soup, Spaghetti con Pistacchi e Burrata, Vitello Moscardino and Tiramisu. Lovely wine list. I canât recommend this restaurant enough!
The food and service was fantastic! It was so good, we went back with friends the following night.
