Le Jerk Spot is on point. The jerk burger is delicious with the red cabbage slaw and pineapple ring. Plus their patties are awesome. Don't shy away from any of them. Goat, oxtail, or fish are all awesome. Plus, dip those plantain chips in their hot sauces and you have a winner. Burger, salad, and chips for <$20 too ;)
Hidden gem in Montreal. Food is amazing! The wait time can be a little long sometimes but it’s all worth it when you get your food.
Ordered here last night because the reviews I read looked good as well as photos I saw of the food online. However, like a lot of places in Montreal... I wish better attention would be paid to ingredients listed on menus that are supposed to go on items... as well as "extras" people pay for on delivery apps. I did not get exactly what I ordered/paid for.For example, I ordered a mango lassi and paid extra for whipped cream ($1.50 I think?) and I did not get any whipped cream on top or on the side (if they just didn't have any in stock that's fine, but then I should have gotten my money back for that add on).I also ordered the Roadmans poutine which I was really excited about! because peas on poutine are my favorite (might be weird, but I love vegetables/"fresh" things on poutine). However when it arrived It did not come with any peas... I double checked on the Uber app (and on Le Jerk Spots website) and yeah, it is supposed to come with peas... and actually even shows what looks like green onions on top in the photo online? Mine was just all brown (chicken, cheese, gravy) and lacked the "freshness" of the peas that I was excited about so it was "meh".The rest of the food that I ordered was tasty! Jerk chicken burger was delicious and the pasta salad. but in conclusion, the main thing that stops me from wanting to order takeout/delivery from places again is when they mess up orders because they don't read instructions and I don't end up get what I paid for or what I expected (and I know I'm not alone). So hoping better attention can be paid to this in the future (as it's pretty frustrating to pay extra for certain add ons and not get them... or to have a meal come missing some items that are advertised online). I'm sure the Roadmans poutine is pretty special and great too when it comes the way it's supposed to!
We had the fish burger aka boatman burger and it was DELICIOUS!!! The combination of all the ingredients are incredible!! I can't wait to try every other dishes they make!
I tried their jerk burger and it blew me away. Amazing spices with a burst of freshness from the salad and roasted pineapple. Unique menu items and accepting to all customers
First time trying le jerk spot. Poutine with jerk chicken was loaded with amazing flavor. Curry goat patties with home made hotsauce were tasty and the sauce I was recommended packed a nice amount of heat , without sacrificing flavor. Patty was a bit on the expensive side. Portion on the poutine was good. Thanks for the food.
The food is absolutely amazing, the service is quick and friendly and the management is absolutely amazing for getting rid of their dining so they don’t have to ask for passports. More restaurants need to stand up like you guys are. You’re making a difference!
I have been there multiple times and I could say that they have the best jerk . Food is always delicious and on point . Great service and amazing staff.
I had the jerk chicken burger- spicey. Was very flavourful, pretty big portion.If you don't like spice why you even going to a jerk spot hahah!I'll be back to try something vegetarian nextThey have peaked my Interests :)
Waited 40 mins for just the jerk chicken sandwich. Asked for a mild one but when I got home it was extremely spicy, so I could not eat it. The sandwich alone was 11.50$... Other places make similar sandwiches for 8$. I give some stars for being nice. But masks were not on while making food...
