One of my favourite Mexican spots in Montreal so far. It was basically a deconstructed quesadilla but the choriqueso app was so delicious. I think that was my favourite thing I tried. Tacos and quesadilla did not disappoint either. I also enjoyed their affordable Horchata. Prices in general were lighter than some of the places I’ve seen closer downtown. Atmosphere is fairly casual, nothing over the top. Service was a bit slow however.
La Matraca offered authentic Mexican eats for a student-friendly price. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and the taste was fantastic. The serving sizes are fairly small, so we would recommend ordering more than one meal. In reality, we estimate that this may actually be intended, so you can mix and match to create a meal suited to your tastes. Misti Noël fell in love with the flautitas and would highly recommend. Jacob had the Suadero tacos and warns that the beef was a little tough but still very good.
Friendly staff and good prices for their flavourful tacos. They even have a beautiful terrace to enjoy. 100% I am becoming a regular here
We stopped here for a snack and everything was delicious. It is a casual simple Resto. The service was good and friendly. Don’t worry if you don’t speak Spanish. I only found out after I ate that they have English menus lol…but it didn’t matter it was all good!
The hostess was really nice, the atmosphere was chill, and the food was delicious! The prices are great but the portions are small, so if you're hungry order two.
Food was great and the prices are really affordable. I would go again in a heartbeat. Service was friendly and fast. No complaints.
Excellent place to eat;Pros:- tacos de.lengua (tongue beef tacos) is the closers original México city flavor here in Mtl-Tacos al pastor, same as above, add them cheese please-The staff is really friendly and nice, they are Mexicans, so the service is really good, you don't even have to ask for something they are always asking if you need something-The musicCons not that cons:-Alcoholic beverages, they just have beer which is good always with tacos but if you want to hang around more time, you always need something else
El servicio bastabte malo … pedí para llevar y ni servilletas pusieron , y al mesero se le había “olvidado “ el agua la cual terminó por darla en una bolsa , ni siquiera fue para ponerla en un vaso con tapa , que sería lo mínimo ya que el precio en relación es bastante alto . Recuerdo por que había dejado de ir , con la primera vez fue debut y despedida ….

Service was top notch. Cosy place, tacos were excellent and prices are super affordable. Really had a great time there.
