Fried chicken burger is the best!
Really good burgers, fried chicken sandwich and tartare, among other items on their simple menu that is sure to please. They also have a great wine list and delicious cocktails. The terrace is always packed because of how great the food. If you’re looking to grab a bite in Rosemont area and you’re craving a burger, this is the spot to go.
Service was really good. Salad was awesome.The burger was a little bit over cooked, but it was really good.
Average restaurant with average options. Don't expect anything fancy or particularly extraordinary. The food is good and so are the portions, pricing is fair for what you receive. Overall, we would go back for quick family dinner.
We always have a great time at La Boulette! The vibe is fun, warm, and inviting. The staff is welcoming and the food is DELICIOUS. The fries and sweet potato fries are top notch crispy. The beef burgers are juicy. The fried chicken burger is super crunchy and well seasoned. The salads are large and full of flavor. And, when you top it all off with a nice beer…chef’s kiss.
With a place called La boulette, your burger better be good and it is! I went for lunch with a friend. I had a more traditional burger with fries and it was very good. My friend had the one with the blue cheese and he said that it was good. It is an unpretentious restaurant where you get a burger and fries, or salad, for under 20$. You have beer and wine at respectable prices also. I would go back anytime to try other burgers and their poutine, which looked very good!
My group of five had dinner at this little eatery in the evening on a Thursday. There was a longer than expected wait to get in, about 30 minutes, but we did have a large party so I can understand that. Once we finally got inside, there was another wait for some customers to clear out (two women hanging around at a table for four, chatting, and the servers were too nervous to urge them along), which meant an extra 15 minutes before we could be fully seated.The servers came over almost immediately then to take our orders and were properly apologetic for the slow customers before us. I ordered a Classic Burger and my partner ordered the Chèvre Burger. Also at my table were two Chicken burgers and one Beaubien.The food came out almost simultaneously, less than a minute between when everyone got their plates, which was a good surprise to me. Weirdly enough though, they did not come to check on us again until it was to collect our plates.I was a little disappointed when biting into my burger. The patty had no seasoning. The lettuce was crisp and the tomatoes were juicy though, which was nice. I did not like their onions. I can understand that it's their basic burger, but the fact that it was a miss, flavor-wise, was a disappointment.I had a bite of the Chèvre Burger also ordered at my table and I found that the lamb, bacon, and cheese added a considerable amount of taste to the burger.If there's one good thing I can say about this restaurant is that the french fries are phenomenal. Extremely well seasoned and perfect temperature. Additionally, the mayo served on the side, of which I had the Chipotle and my partner the garlic one, is extremely tasty and a perfect pair to the french fries.I would definitely return to this little spot but I would probably go with a smaller party and I would definitely order something other than the Classic burger.
The food does not make up for the rude service. And when I asked to speak to the manager, the hostess told me she was on the phone and would not be coming out to talk to me. Will never go back.
The burgers are excellent, the place is cozy, the service courteous and friendly - I just wish they'd do a table check. I really wanted ketchup, and to correct the two small errors in our order.
Delicious burgers. Last time I went I have ordered the goat cheese burger with sweet potato fries and it was *SO* good. We have ordered several others equally delicious.
