Very nice bakery
Excellent french pastry shop in Plateau area, everything I've tried so far is very fresh, extremely tasty and beautiful. Their eclairs are succulent. Much recommended !
Clerk didn't close the bag of sliced bread properly. Bread all over the steps. Vagrant yelled abuse at me and my young daughter
Best pastries by far was the raisin danish (highly recommend trying the raisin or chocolate danish)!The bostock was good as well :)And the little almond and raspberry pie was an absolute delight!It was the first time I ever tried a Saint-Christain (twisted almond pastry), was not a fan of it since it was extremely dry.I don't recommend the cheese and raspberry danish. I don't know what kind of "cheese" they used, but that was the sweetest and most bizzare tasting "cheese" I have ever tried.The croissant was very disappointing, the flaky dough was bland compared to the other pastries and there was no taste of butter. Maybe they used margarine instead? (Vegan croissant?)
Delicious pain au chocolat, exactly like the ones I had in France! Their hot chocolate is made from real chocolate too, not that powder nonsense. Latte was absolutely wonderful as well
I went in for coffee as my regular place was too busy. The pictured was a $4 black drip coffee, when asking for milk in the coffee I got creamers similar to a gas station. The coffee itself wasn’t good at all either. The main reason I’m not recommending this place beyond price and quality would be that nobody behind the counter was wearing their mask
Very nice and kind service. Cute little place with good selection. Fresh and tasty. The downside is the owner did not wear a mask or gloves and served us with his hands and no washroom
Very nice place. Was told about this pastry from a person enjoying their pastry in the local park. Today we decided to go and get something for tonights dessert after dinner. I assume that the earlier you go the more choices they would have. I look forward to seeing and trying more of their desserts. Pastries were delicious. My girlfriend said that they taste as they do in Belgium. So we plan on going back to try other things.
