If you're looking for a unique ramen experience in Montreal, take a look at Kumamoto Ramen. Instead of a normal restaurant, you instead have a more private experience to enjoy your meal in peace with shutters blocking your and other's view of your seat. The ramen itself is very tasty and you can customize it in the usual way with various ingredients.
Unadon(eel rice):The unadon rice was awful. Since it's the most expensive rice bowl in the menu I thought it will be good. The unagi was not fresh. It was not even tender, it was very chewy and not sepeatable with a spoon.Karrage don: it's so-so. It's very weird and not authentic that they put kimchi as a side dish. No salad or good side dish for both of the rice meal.Total was also $60, it's expensive but not worth the experience. Maybe next time we shall try their ramen...

First time, the Ramen was good, however the portion are on the small side, the pork slice are good but thin, the noddles seem to be from store package. The small seating area was a first, very private when alone but not certain as a couple.Forget eye contact with the host, the bamboo curtain's take care of any human contact.A bit pricy.
The worst ramen I have ever had..The egg is totally over cooked, no marinated at all…The noodles is technically not ramen, but only noodles(it’s not the thing- hardness and also the texture)What a pity they took the name of the original very acclaimed brand-Kumamoto ramen, but serving bad quality foodsthe waiter who serve the noodles is rude too, without saying excuse me/enjoy the food or sth, just put it in front of me.
I really like their ambiance and concept! I went alone and I was seated in a cubicle. (There's movable partition to your sides, so you can eat with a small group of friends) It's a nice cozy place to eat by yourself, because you don't really see the other customers and the waiters.I ordered their Tantan men and it was just ok. The broth and toppings were not amazing. I heard from a friend that their Don (rice bowl) are better, so I'll try it next time.
Délicieux et expérience adorable ?
Bad services!!! Rude . We had not yet finish ordering. The server went away. And return different orders. And push us to have all. Which we couldn’t finish. We did not wanna waste food, but still push us to have all.Quality of foods:+ super less soup ! As pictures.Soup is less than the noodle. Not match to the picture or doesn’t make sense. We ordered extra noodle too. But we couldn’t enjoy it because there were not enough for for 1 at all…….Secondly, soup wasn’t hot! It was just warm.Thirdly, we ordered the grilled octopus, which tasted like boil octopus with some sauce…. Didn’t taste like grilled at all. And it costed $18.99+ tax….Totally we spent $50 over at the restaurant…. Don’t feel worth it. I would rather instant noodle…
Lovely spot to try out especially if you’re alone or with one other person! The ramen is great, the service is good and quick. A little in the pricey side for ramen, but you’re paying for the experience. There’s also combos you can choose for a more worthwhile meal. As other reviewers have noted, it is very hot in there! The restaurant should consider toning down the heating.
Great place to grab a quick lunch. The service was friendly and fast. The concept and ambiance reminds me a lot of Japan! Love the individual booths, and as a huge water drinker, I also appreciate the self-serving fountain, haha. The curry was delicious, I'll try the ramen next time. :)
