Very inviting service and environment. The spicy pork ramen was flavourful and not overly salted, but not very spicy. The vegetarian Gyoza along with the sauce deliver nice flavours and crispiness. My only complaint is the seating, which have have no back support and get uncomfortable after a while, but that’s part of their Japanese experience.
Decent ramen but very little toppings. We got the original pork and vegetarian shoyu. The porkbelly was boiled and not charred which was odd while there was only one thin slice of Tofu for the vege ramen. Additionally, no egg was included in the vegetarian ramen which sucks because you're already getting less protein with it. Soup was flavourful and noodles were good. Overall recommend sansotei over this one for classic ramen with more toppings.
I enjoyed my ramen here!I ordered the spicy pork ramen, and added corn with $1.The noodle was nicely made, along with the other ingredients. The ramen was pretty oily fyi. You could see the layer floating on top of the actual soup.
Good ramen but a full spoon of raw garlic overwhelms the hole ramen bowl more than it should.Spiciness on point on the broth. Karaage could be better.Really nice place with great staff ?
I'm not a fan of Ramen, but this place changed my mind, they have unique and amazing flavours I had never tried before, this is definitely a must in town. Just need to be aware of rush hours, because when this place is crowded you will have to wait long time to get inside. The only con is about the tables and seats, they're very uncomfortable, I think it's done in purpose to force people just to eat and leave as soon as they finish.
Really good! The karaage and the gyoza are so delicious. The broth (We ordered chicken original) is not too heavy. To try at least once.
I ate there twice the past week because the taste of their pork ramen with garlic oil and scallions. It’s perfect. The soup is creamy, full of balanced flavor. The two slices of meat can be dipped in the creamy hot sauce of the fried dumplings stuffed with meat that I order as an appetizer. Also, add an egg to the ramen. That’s perfection. What we didn’t like was the spicy ramen. It was too spicy. We are used to spicy food but this was too much. My wife didn’t finish her bowl.Good affordable and delicious food, definitely.
Fast attentive service. I had the spicy ramen and the broth was delicious. The deep fried chicken was really fatty, but aside from that the meal was excellent!!!
I am honestly disappointed of what Kinton Ramen became. The first years they opened, they were the best ramen in Montreal in my opinion and the food was tasty. Now I feel like their ramen is just salty broth and bland pork pieces. I have taken out few times from them during the pandemic and came back to their restaurant once recently and I have been disappointed every single time. I guess it is time for me to find another place to eat good ramen.
Okay ramen with okay gioza. Yummy lemonade. Lovely place but there's something lacking with the vibe. Was expecting richer taste from the ramen.
