Best ice cream and sorbets in Montreal. And by far. You just can’t go there and not already get excited to come back. Just try their chocolate ice cream and see how rich in flavor it is. Our go to ice cream shop this summer definitely.

Kem CoBa is worth the hype. Great ice cream and sorbet with really interesting flavours. You can't go wrong with the swirl of the day - I had the honey soft serve with wild blueberry sorbet swirl today and it was perfect for a hot summer afternoon. Nice benches to enjoy outside. More legit than some of the more pricey tourist-trap places on Fairmont. They also sell pints in so many good flavours so make sure to bring enough cash since that's all they take! There's often a line but it moved more quickly than I expected every time I've been. Made the good choice today to go during the construction holiday and the line was way shorter than usual for such a nice sunny day.

I’d definitely recommend coming even before they open, as the line can get really long. Otherwise, the ice cream is delicious! We tried the pandan, salted butter, and mango flavors, along with the coconut and orange soft serve.

There was quite a long line, it's cash only, but it's definitely worth the hassle. Possibly the best ice cream and soft serve on the island. Friendly staff and ample vegan options too.

I have visited 54 countries and this place is without any doubts one of the greatest if not the greatess ice creap shop I have had the chance to visit... And I tried almost all of the famous ones in the city! Incredible story, service and overall experience.

This is my happy place in the city. In the winter when it’s closed, the thought of Kem CoBa keeps me going til the next summer ❤️❤️❤️❤️ no matter how surprising the flavours are, Kem CoBa really can do no wrong but they are CASH ONLY so come prepared! Obsessed with the ice cream here and my favourite soft serve specials are the honey/blueberry and apple/cinnamon. They sell pints at $11 each and my favourite ones to take home are Vietnamese coffee, fig orange, and honey orange blossom.

WOW! the perfect mix of bold, fresh flavours, the incredibly smooth texture and sweet high quality cream is as if you were biting into the fruit itself. This divine (and unfortunately over) "twist of the moment" could not have been crafted better and we can't wait for the next one.

When we visit Montreal, ice cream and patisseries are what we go for. Kem coba does not disappoint but at the same time I would not say they are the best in Mtl either. The swirl ice cream is pretty good but I had better in Toronto (Butter Baker). The gelato is pretty good. Try the pandan and taro flavours. I will rate them same level as Ca Lem.

There’s always a line-up that spans at least around the block. It’s no surprise why. Flavors stretch the imagination and include: salted butter, soursop, rose lychee, pandan and honey orange blossom. There’s also a “Twist du Moment” soft serve that changes on a weekly basis with flavors like pear mixed with dulce du leche or coconut mixed with mango passionfruit. No matter what the mix, it’s always marvelous. For more of my ice cream faves check out my website Joy et Joie.

You can’t go wrong with Kem CoBa. It’s a Montreal staple. If you like sorbet or ice cream, this is the place. It’s almost as iconic to the local scene as the $2 Chow Mein guy. Summer or winter, catch me here.
