I will never forget Kanbai. The pork eggplant is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot. Can't recommend Kanbai enough.
Bad experience with this restaurant, tried to order first time on uber eats and had two items with similar names and prices next to each other, tried to call many times and never got an answer or went straight to VM, even left a message to the uber driver and they employees lied saying nobody called them!!! Never order from this restaurant
Shared the veggie spring rolls, eggplant with minced pork, double fried pork, beef with black bean sauce, peanut butter dumplings, and beef with two kinds of mushrooms. Everything was great in terms or portions and flavour. Mushroom beef was the best dish. They don't skimp on meat for dumplings, which is awesome.
First night in Monreal, read reviews from others and went for a dinner after finding parking and all, it was not worth it at all. Food was cold, the lo mein was not cooked like normally the chinese restaurants do and it was tasteless, no sauce, not spices. I would not recommend anyone.
I've never been disappointed! foods always good whether I dine-in or take-out, the portions could be bigger but that's just wanting more of the good stuff.
Excellent menu,fair prices great service super clean environment
One of the best places for lunch in Chinatown if you are looking for Cantonese type fare. Their lunch prices include a soup and the service is super efficient and the food taste is excellent. They also serve authentic suppers so if you are a group of 8 or more it is worth ordering family style and sharing. We need to support more of these local non-franchise restaurants.
Fast service. Good food. Less crowdy than before the pandemics.
