There is a reason why Kam Shing has been around for almost 40 years in Montreal.Originally just a small location on Cote Des Neige, when rival restaurant Maison Kam closed it's doors and retired, all their talented cooks and service went to Kam Shing and their business (and costumer base) exploded. They moved to their large current location as part of Cote Des Neige Plaza and the rest is history.Serving up the best Beef with Brocolli and fried noodles that wins awards year after year. Mouth watering Fried Wonton and Orange Beef that is to die for.Everyone says "their" local Chinese restaurant is the best. But even after moving away from Montreal, it still has not been matched by anyone in Eastern Canada and when I am in town it's the MUST GO local every single time.

Ordered for take out was overall pleased. Big portions. We had:Beef & brocoli, 2 portions of fried rice, chow Meiji (crunchy noodles)?, salt n pepper shrimps, general TaoNothing negative to say. I just wished the rice had a bit more flavour. It was a bit bland.

One of my favorite Asian restaurant. I love their salt and pepper shrimp and calamari. So delicious. Their chicken general Tao is also very delicious. Don't forget about their chow mein (fried noodle), it is so good!!! I recommend to enjoy with small or big group and share dishes!

Really tasty. Recently the prices went up but the portions are much more generous as well -- our usual order is now too much, so we had to adjust. Overall happy with the food and the service -- not overly friendly but efficient and polite

Best Chinese food outside of Chinatown. The staff are chill. Location isn't anything special, very plain... Doesn't matter! Your eyes will be fixed on your table and the beautiful food is all the decor you'll need.

Approximately 6pm last night.Pretty disappointed. The tip wasn't warranted for this lack of quality.I have been ordering from kam shing for many years on a regular basis and my parents before me. It was always consistent.Last night the shrimp in black bean lobster sauce although taste good, the sauce itself was SOUPY. It was so liquidy it lacked the Thickness that the sauce used to have. There was no body texture at all.The shrimps were also overcooked that they were practically mushy, literally. This place used to have the best general tao in the city (at least to me). The general tao sauce was off in its color and the general tao chicken itself wasn't as crispy as it used to be. It wasn't that it was soggy, no, it was just different from what it used to be and not in a good way.The Singapore noodle was lacking in flavour and so was the salt and pepper tofu. The chow mein was still okay. Although one family member felt that usually the chowmein noodles were better in previous orders from Kam shing.Maybe it was an off day. Maybe you guys have new cooks that need more training. An extra star for still being borderline edible.Whatever the case may be, I am sad to say that I don't feel like ordering here for a very long time at least for now and will stop recommending this place to others.Hope the quality can go back to what it used to be and be maintained.

I've ordered many times but today was bad. The shrimp was overboiled and had a film on it, the rice was not even good, beyond salty. The pork was inedible.

A decent place to gather with family and friends for a dinner. Food is tasty and service is fast and professional. The price is decent $$: and the portions are quite generous, but the dish prices do range from $10-$16. It would have been 5 Stars, but it lost -1 Star because you can only enter from main street, very inconvenient if you want to enter from the mall itself when it’s raining.

I used to come every 2 weeks for a few years... This was "the chinatown outside Chinatown". I moved away and...I came back 4 years ago to surprise my girlfriend after giving birth to our daughter. What a shock it was!The quality had gone down and the prices had gone up.Because I loved the place so much, I decided to give it another chance today (26th of August 2021). Sadly, I will never go back and my memories are all I have left.We ordered a won ton soup. We received bland won tons in hot water. We complained to the waiter and he went to the kitchen to replace it saying "sorry, the chef made a mistake" , but it still wasn't soup he bought us. We also had black bean sauce beef. My wife tasted it and said she wouldn't take any.RIP KAM SHING

Great Chinese restaurant!Quality price ratio is very good!Huge plates and good quality.Friendly staff as well! Not surprising the restaurant is usually packed.
