I went with couple of friends for their weekend brunch and we loved it! I highly recommend to order few plates and share to try out their different flavours! My favourite is the Chai waffle with coconut yogurt and caramelizes pineapple! The combination of flavours mixes so well together! Chicken butter egg benedict was amazing too. Next time, I will order some nan bread to eat with the sauce. The fried chicken and waffle was juicy, however I find it lacks of bit of indian touch! I do not recommend the homemade traditional chai tea as it tastes a bit diluted. The chai spice doesn’t stand out strongly enough. I would definitely go back for their brunch.
Considering reservation was for 2 hrs, I called will be late by 10-15 mins for reservation at 10, reached at 10.05, wasn't given a table till 10.25. (Was offered place to sit indoors as well as outdoors - that was good)All the dishes were good especially the tapas (appetizers)- chicken hariyali, shrimps (real jumbo sized), tandoori mushrooms and dahi puri. However, In the main course the curry was extremely rich and yummy but the chicken in it was simply bland and added to gravy hence had no taste and felt like boiled chicken. We ordered chicken korma and butter chicken - both the dishes the chicken was same as mentioned above.Veg biryani tasted good but more like pulao, not the real biryani taste.May be my expectations were high but it was good.Their pistachio ice cream was nice, good to try as its something different - since we don't get it here easily. Also after the waiter took our order for main course around 11 she disappeared without informing and then it was like we were abandoned and looking for someone to attend to us for long.Overall the ambience was good 5/5 and food was good 3.5/5 and service was 2/5. I enjoyed my birthday with my family in some place different and special than the regular.I will definitely return for the tapas and may be next time will try veg gravies. Will ignore the service part cause I think that's how it is here in most restaurants.*Forgot to mention a very good thing - their take away containers are eco friendly and this makes them different than the other restaurants. Thank you for protecting nature by eliminating plastic.
Hands down the best Indian food in Montreal if not in Quebec or even in Canada. We tried a few things which included samosas, tiki style cocktails, paneer pepper masala, daal makhani, and garlic naans and everything was super delicious. The tiki style cocktails were recommended by our server and it was a great suggestion. Almost everyone drinks that here.Coming to the food, very fresh and tasty and not oily at all. Quantity is good too.I'm going back here for sure and that too multiple times! Just loved it and a must go place.
Amazing experience!!! We arrived earlier than our reservation time, but they still manage to give us a table. The waitress was sincere and explained the menu attentively. She recommended all the dishes (it was our first time there and the menu was a bit complicated) and all of them are delicious. We went there for a birthday celebration. I secretly whispered to the waitress that we have a birthday girl here, she was very subtle and simply replied “I got you”. Then she surprised us with a cute dessert at the end and sang to us. It was not extravagant but a very sweet moment.Tapas, cocktails, main dish and dessert are all wonderful. Both the pace and the taste are exquisite. Perfection.
great menu good prices and nice portions..I'd go back and try more items on regular menu. Brunch was chicken and waffles and Rosa's omelette. too bad I can't post pics here
Bon service et beaux plats appétissants?
Eat and go because your time is limited and they will make you feel it many, many, many times. Not a place to relax. We were a group of 8 people for Sunday brunch and we were all happy with our choices. The place is stylish, the food is tasty with generous portions and the staff is amazing. Our waiters did a great job. Then why 3/5, because the manager was rude. I get that your restaurant is popular (maybe that's why you don't care about losing customers) and since we were already wearing our coats, asking us more nicely to leave would have been appreciated.Food: 4/5Drinks: 4/5Ambiance: 3/5Decoration: 5/5Staff: 4/5Value for money: 3,5/5
First two things : you need a reservation and don't be late. You have 2 hours no more no less. The food was excellent. My friend and I really enjoyed the it. Their paneer tikka was one of my favorite! Next was the biryani rice with lamb and the chicken Madras curry. Can't forget the naan with a bit of butter on it. Everything was well spiced and had layers of different flavours. The portions are very generous too. We couldn't finish and took it home.I was a bit surprised to see the menu for the cocktails/alcohol had like 6 pages while the food had 2. There were so many choices of drinks that it was hard to decide. We ended having the guru and the diplomate.Overall, the food was excellent and so are the drinks, but only if you're willing to eat and go. You can't relax and spend a slow good time with your friend of family. It's always go go go.
