This is not a review of the restaurant but rather a Zoom cooking class with four couples that turned a birthday (mine) into a fun, delicious learning experience. At a time when restaurants have had to U-turn, Dany, Jonathan and the gang are thinking outside the box - or rather, inside it. We picked up baskets of food in the morning, pre-measured, some of it pre-cooked, and several bottles of wine, and had a hands-on, restaurant quality dinner. Dany directed and patiently answered question in both French and English, and Jonathan was behind the camera. Try it! It is the perfect marriage of delicious things you (OK, I) would never try at home (a reduction of Bolognese sauce, anyone?) along with new skill sets and a sense of accomplishment.

Sunday brunch is a set for everyone. So be cautious if you have allergy or vegan. \\n\\n$120+ for two, a bit pricey without mimosa but only regular coffee and a juice choice. The juice is semi fresh when we got there around 1230, being kept in the jar since maybe morning before 10am. \\n\\nI don’t see any table could finish all the food choices. So I got a doggy bag. They replaced my half toast with a new one. I liked it very much. It tastes like donuts ? but it’s not the same. All the bakery is classy but the brownish is the best. \\n\\nExpecting something more on the third dish, chocolate maybe?

Wonderful experience. Exquisite cuisine. Impeccable service. What more can I say?

Probably one of the nicest and most creative spots in Montreal! The cruise according to the staff, is Nordic with Japanese influences.\\nDany Bolduc went to Japan for 3 months in order to get inspired and build the menu.\\nWent for a special new year's day brunch, after a long while in which I wanted to go there.\\nUpon arrival, the waiting staff was very welcoming, and gave us a stylish box to put our belongings so it won't be in the way and served hot towels.\\nSince the service included a set menu, there was only one choice for the main course, in which we took the squash, filled with cheese sauce, buratta, egg and baked with all goods.\\nThat was probably one of the best dishes I had for breakfast.\\nBut before we go there, we had a full first service including creative home made bread, jams and spreads, chicken liver mousse, mini pancakes, orange infused yogurt and granola. Needless to say that everything is home made and you feel it in every bite.\\nThe staff was open to give us more bread when requested or anything else. Coffee was also delicious, although they only had oat milk.\\nThe toilets were also impeccable, including feminine products and toothpicks.

Gorgeous restaurant, great service and incredible food. A bit on the pricy side but this place is great for impressing a date or your in-laws. Make sure to get their doughnuts for dessert, absolutely incredible!

Honestly, this was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Montreal and I’ve lived here my whole life. The service was outstanding, the decor was beautiful and the food was unique and delicious. From Montreal-made serving ware, to starting us off with a warm cloth and a felt bag to put my purse in on the floor, they really went above and beyond. The set brunch menu was excellent and included fresh breads and homemade spreads in the first serving, along with several other delicious items. Overall outstanding!

Very fine cuisine with quality ingredients but above all what separates them is the level of research and experimentation to come up with surprising and complex but delicious combinations. You can see and taste the kitchen staff craftsmanship ? \\nService, especially with the wine selection, was great. An expensive dinner experience but you get one of a kind. Perfect location and cozy decor. They also have affordable brunch on Saturdays.

From the moment I called to advise that we would be late, to the moment the staff bid us goodbye, our interactions with the entire team at H4C was impeccable. Everyone we interacted with was knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, funny and engaging. However, the service was not the only reason our evening was such a success. The food was incredible! Our table chose to start with a tray of oysters from PEI. They were delicate, with a hint of \\\"the ocean\\\" and the accompanying sauces were inventive and delicious. We followed with the 5 course menu and were pleased with every dish. The gnudi were particularly flavourful and \\\"comforting\\\", the tuna was marinated and seasoned to perfection. The halibut was delicate and moist (not overcooked as it's often the case). Cheeses were delicious and we were happy to discover some gems from Quebec. Dessert was light and refreshing. The ambiance and decor are cozy. Tables are appropriately spaced so that you are not made to listen to your neighbours' conversation. The final touch for me, was the basket which was placed next to my seat: It was designed to hold my purse and shield it from the germs located on the floor. We will definitely go back to H4C; we have rediscovered a restaurant where ambiance, service and food are all equally as important to both the staff and management.

Fantastic restaurant and close to the metro. We went for a brunch and it was super good. We definitely loved that place. A little bit expensive and the experience is worth it. The food was complex and delicious. Staffs are super nice and motivated. The terrasse is super nice. The vibe is relax. I definitely enjoy and will recommend the place to my friends.
