Burger was good and the onion rings was great but it’s not worth the priceOne triple burger one hamburger one small fries one onion rings and two orange juice for 49$And I don’t understand the hype about their orange juice it has 0 naturel flavor.Their medium ice cream was 5.54$ that’s absolutely not worth it, daisy queen is 500x times better for half the price . I’m out .
The Orange Julep is a must try. They are delicious! It’s hard to describe exactly what it tastes like. The best way I can describe it, would be like a creamsicle ice cream smoothie. It’s thicker and cold, almost a bit with a slushie. They aren’t very cheap, but a very unique thing to try.
Best orange juice in town. Not sure what they add but it’s really good. A must stop if you are in town or just passing by.
Their Putin was fresh and gravy sauce was so tasty! But their iconic orange juice was too sweet…taste like sugar but I think some people can like it…
Having an orange julep (orange juice x milk hybrid drink-thing?) was in many of the “Top 10 Things to do in Montreal” lists. As a lover of orange juice, I couldn’t miss out on this. Orange Julep is both the name of the drink and the restaurant, and has a hilariously iconic large orange demarking the store from miles away. In essence, Orange Julep is a fast food store with your typical hot dogs, fries and orange julep. I only ordered the Orange Julep drink since that was my main agenda there so I can’t comment on the food. The drink was… funky tasting to me. It felt like a hybrid between syrupy orange juice and a milky slushy ALTHOUGH it seems from their marketing that they only use fresh oranges. Perhaps a drink like this varies on personal preference because while I was relatively indifferent to its taste, my partner loved it. To me it tasted like alot of artificial sweetener was used and on the whole was too sweet for my liking - deviating from what I love about orange juice in essence: the freshness that balances out sweet and sour in the right proportions. Overall, it was fun for the novelty but if life brings me back to Montreal again, I probably won’t be back for another cup ??
Definitely worth a visit, at least once. Tried their orange juice for the first time. It had quite a different taste and I loved it, they definitely add sugar (alot? Cane sugar?). I asked the server what ingredients they add to their orange juice, she couldn't tell me but confirmed that they definitely add sugar.Though the taste is unique and really addictive when fresh, the price is bit high. They also have 1L cans for takeout that I would not recommend to anyone because it does not taste the same after a few hours and definitely not as good after 24 hours.
The best poutine and hot dogs I’ve had in Montreal. The flavour of the gravy was incredible, the fries were super crispy even after being drenched with gravy. The hot dog bun was toasted beautifully and was an incredible hotdog. The Orange Julep was a must get, and I still regret not buying the jug.Overall, this would definitely put a smile on your face after consuming, highly recommend.
A classic place in Montreal to visit. It's best on a nice sunny day where you can sit and enjoy your food outdoors. It's great for motorcycle meet ups as the parking lot is huge and it's a solid landmark. The food is your standard fast food fare and if you're vegetarian the veggie dogs are great. The veggie burger is good but won't really compare to something like and Impossible or Beyond burger.
An iconic spot to visit! The orange juice is light and sweet with a creamy texture- a classic. The hot dogs were good too. The fries were quite sweet though and we wish it came with ketchup.
Their orange juice is absolutely delicious and pulpy. The poutine tastes good as well. A small portion of poutine is enough to fill your stomach. Definitely worth it.
