Oh my good! I had the best time here and the food was fantastic. We tried a bit of everything and I have to say the appetizers were out of this world. There is this pizza with pistachio (I forget the name) that the waitress recommended that you MUST have. The wine recommendations were in point and the staff just super lovely.
Love the ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. We ordered two pizza's and a bottle of wine, everything was delicious and food came out fairly quickly. Highly recommended if you're eating in little Italy.
I mean for 27$ I would've hoped that the pizza was better done, as in not having the bottom dough completely charred... Also the sauce was really acidic, portion was small. I understand it's a neopolitan style of pizza with thin crust and it's easy to get burnt, but if you are gonna charge this much, I should expect more no? Can't really enjoy the topping if everything is overridden by the taste of burnt dough.
It’s an okay place with good service and cozy ambiance. But the space is a bit small (and in turn the tables are not very well spaced) and the pizzas are not that authentic.
We are from Toronto and paid this spot a visit with my wife and two children. From the greeting to the ending the customer service was superb! The food was amazing and some of the best pizza in Montreal. Never tried frozen custard but it was so good! I went on Saturday October 23rd in the evening and the manager on duty was phenomenal. He really deserves a raise as he treats all the customers with impeccable kindness along with the staff. Defintiely will stop by again when in Montreal.
One of the best pizzas in the city. Even on a Wednesday night, it was very busy and it was easy to see why.We started off with the calamars frits (calamari), pallote marcovecchio (meat balls), and salade de pieuvre (fennel, potato, and octopus salad).They were all really good. When you get the calamari, ask for spicy honey to go with it because it adds a bit of sweetness and a kick of spice, along with the brightness of lemon. However, if I had to pick one, I would suggest the octopus salad because it was so tender and soft and the charred flavour of the octopus went great with the light taste of the fennel and the potatoes.For the main dish, we only shared one Capricciosa but I think that we made the right choice because it was fantastic! I personally really liked the dough - it was able to hold its structure without softening too much even with the tomato sauce on top. The marinated artichoke went perfectly with the mushrooms and ham and we couldn’t get enough. I think capricciosa is a must if you visit here.For the desserts, we went with the cheesecake and the vanilla frozen custard. I enjoyed the frozen custard more than the cheesecake but the desserts weren’t a home run compared to the appetizers and the main course; but that’s maybe because we were both so full.Aside from the desserts, the meal was fantastic and I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fantastic atmosphere and greatly executed Italian food!
Had the absolute best customer service and the food was quite delicious! The pizza was delicious. The manager went above and beyond to make sure our family (husband and two children) had a wonderful experience and were comfortable while dining. I loved the frozen yogurt it was the best I've ever tasted. Would definitely recommend and will be going back!
This pizzeria, which is in Montreal's Little Italy, is quite small and cosy. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the pizzas are truly amazing. It is quite busy, so reservations are recommended. The pizza crust was perfect and the toppings absolutely delicious. In addition, the wine menu was very impressive, and the special dessert of frozen custard, the espressos and the grappa were all excellent. We cannot wait to return during our next visit to Montreal.
Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was a bit too thin though, and I found that the pepperoni was falling off right when I picked up the pizza to eat it. Taste was perfect though, highly recommend this place if you want good pizza ?.
Fantastic pizza, i really felt i am in italy…definitely try the meatballs…the best ??
