Not what you're use to when you're seeking to just have pupusas. I'm reluctant to call Salvadorian cuisine "gourmet" as our dishes are very cultural and modest. However, I have nothing against what this restaurant is trying to do. It's located in an area where you tipycally find fancy restaurants so it's only normal that you have to lift it up a notch when it comes to interior design.I do need to point out that this place is more expensive than other well known Salvadorian restaurants in town but that's to be expected. Size and portions were smaller than what I'm use to. Overall, we had a good time and that's what matters. If you want to take your partner out to enjoy central american cuisine and have a taste of romance, this is a good place to go.
