Dunn's famous really show why it's famous. The smoked meat was fantastic. It was fatty and juicy. If it was only for the smoked meat, I would have give 5/5However, my friends who ordered the burgers said it was really dry and bland. And I can confirm it barely taste anything. ??It is my first time eating a smoke meat sandwich and I better say, I was expecting to have a burger buns but instead, they use a regular bread ?.Not only that, I didn't like the meat ?. The way it was grilled is not that good. (I think by ordering takeout food, the taste will not be the same if I were to eat inside their restaurant)??⭐??⭐
ordered last night. very disappointed my Reuben was a big soggy mess. I live less than 10 minutes away probably best to eat there than get it for takeout
In all honesty, a disappointment. I have been wanting to go for the longest time. I guess going at 8PM on a Monday night was not the best choice. No one in the place except for me and the staff. Everything I had was, to me, just not right. Okay, no big deal but I placed my order with a baked potato instead of fries and within a couple of minutes it was at my table. When I received my order there were fries instead of the potato. The fries looked good but I elected to get the baked potato. I asked for a sandwich with medium and lean cuts, the smoked meat was very dry. . Wow, this potato tasted old. The pickle had no crispness and I had to cut it because I could not bite it. All in all, I was disappointed. I was looking forward to this for soooo long.Well, maybe next time. ☹
First restaurant I went to after moving to Montreal. Was super excited to have Montreal poutine. The portion sizes were great for their price. Smoked meat was good but nothing super special. Was disappointed with the chocolate milk as it was just milk and syrup but that’s just a personal thing as I love chocolate milk.Staff was great and polite and super fun environment!
Very disappointed with the quality of food. New to Montreal and decided to try Dunn’s for the first time. Sandwich was decent but the coleslaw was drowned in water and tasted old. The chicken soup was basically noodles and water, broth had no flavour and no spices. Even the pickle was not fresh. Sad, i had high hopes.
Delicious! And food came pretty fast. It was my Mexican husband's first time tasting Montreal's smoked meat and he loved it. I got the pasta alfredo, generous portion and so tasty. I'm pregnant and have food aversion, but those pastas didn't bothered at all!
We came in for lunch while running errands in the area. Their smoke meat isn’t my fave (I prefer Reubens) but it’s not bad either, and service was great. I had a sandwich only with Swiss cheese and Boyfriend had the plate with fries - fries are good too. Bathroom was very clean. Would return!
Emm, don’t order steak from a place that is not steakhouse I don’t know what to say but the steak is really really bad, and service that is sooooo bad, I can say they are racismBut!!! The hamburger is really nice and the soup thought
Service slow but polite and friendly and food great as always . They do a thorough check on Covid QR pass before entering my only readon a 4 not a 5 star says closing at 2:00 A.M. but was told we close at 12 midnight and we all wanted to gave a few beers with our meal after a long day at work and we had a designated driver but only had 1 hour to eat and drink and leave and no way we were going to look for another place at 10:45 pm but now we know it's not a night stop only a day stop.Anyhow our waitress was on top of everything and went as fast as possible.Food great and plenty full ? as always.
