This is my favorite brunch place ever in Montreal, totally a must try ! They have the most delicious pastries and their food menu is unique and so tasty!! My favorite brunch item on their menu is definitely their Steak egg benedict and I can never come here without ordering their pancakes (fluffy and buttery) ? Their service is on point and I always feel so welcomed here! Can't wait to come back !!
Our waiter was ok, the manager was very kind and attentive and they offered us limoncello shots in the end. I would give 5 for service but the food/price ratio is what throws me off.I believe they've increased the prices recently and I don't find them reasonable at all for what you get. The calamari was my favourite, my tuna tartare was ok but lacked flavour. They were out of the duck so I went with the rack of lambs which was chewy and also didn't have much flavour. My friend got the lobster mac and cheese and it was delicious but again, too expensive. We got the mini cheesecake for dessert and it was too sweet for my taste. I don't mind splurging on food but I expect it to be on a different level. I came almost a year ago and the menu was different with more reasonable prices (unless I'm remembering it wrong).

My son Eric and I had a good over all experienced dining at your place .. good food . Good service . Good ambiance . Am visiting from California and We I’ll be back soon and dine again in Duc de Lorraine
The food was great, but the food isn't much "French Food". Homard risotto (Italian), and Philly cheese stake (Amerian) were great. The oysters from Prince Edwards island were delicious.The little touch of France is in the bakery and the lack of deodorant of some of the waiters... The terrace outside is gorgeous.
The small cakes are simply horrible. The cream are just wrong on every level, the pastry is even more ridiculous. Let’s not even talk about their awfully disgusting coffee. Coming from someone that doesn’t care how much I spend for good food, Duc is heavily overpriced for absolutely no reason. I absolutely do not recommend. This place is a major Tourist trap … ew ew ew. The only good thing I can say is that the girl who helped us with the order was really nice ! 0/10
The deserts I ordered arrived beautifully packaged, and were absolutely delicious and of high quality. I still do think it was a bit overpriced but the quality is very nice.The tiramisu was particularly delicious, probably one of the best I have tasted.
La propriétaire de cet endroit fait juste écrire des beaux commentaires sur Google mais ne fait rien pour régler les problèmes du restaurant. Les prix ne sont pas du tout réels pour la qualité qu’ils offrent et le service est très désagréable…. Vous pouvez manger ailleurs pour la fraîcheurs des produits….. Payer 20$ pour deux cafés….????????
Be very cautious when you buy cakes and tarts from them. Their packaging is not made for transportation, cakes and tarts are not properly stored. By the time you bring it home they’ve melted or collapsed, the cream fruit tarts fall apart when you take them out of the box. I am very disappointed in their service and quality.
Wow, the bakery doesn't make it seem like the pastry is a waste of one's time because, really, it's really great and all the ingredients are in a pretty good place.
